A Post-Apoc creation that I made. With zombies who's heads exploding and blasted into the air, heavily armed blackened uniformed soldiers, and snipers in mini towers ready to snipe the first zombie they see. I hope you enjoy and like it!
About this creation
INTRODUCTION
The year that many people have feared, has arrived. In the future, mass use of nuclear energy, worldwide, had become the number one use of energy. Most of the nuclear energy facilities were controlled by one computer in a isolated place in Anartica. Computers aren't 100% smart and perfect as humans, and if you guessed it, things went wrong. The computers overrided the sequences, making nuclear facilities worldwide exlpoding and releasing the toxic chemicals they held into the air. It would cause damage to humans, such as the slowly rotting of flesh and severe brain damage, if breathed in.
The U.S. Government was able to construct and assemble a dozen or so, protection camps for the ones that were not infected by the toxic chemicals during the chaos. The protection camps were one mile in length, and a little bit smaller that one mile in width. It is protected by a thirteen feet high wall, with two gates on each of the four sides, and many mini sniper towers here and there. It is also surrounded by a perimeter made of barbed wires and chunks of concrete, guarded by a new unit of soldiers assembled by the U.S. Goverment. Hundreds of anti-personnal landmines were placed around the whole protection camp.
A family of four, and their grandfather, having been (slowly) chased by the zombies, finally sees a protection camp. The father and his two sons made it into the perimeter and without stepping onto the landmines, but will the children's mother and gramps make it into the perimeter even though they made it through the landmines before its too late . . .
BAM! BAM! BAM!
"Get inside the perimeter now!!! C'mon, get up lady!!!"
BAM!
"Stay away from her, you creepy sons of a guns!!!"
BOOM!!!
Lesson learned: Always watch where you are stepping on, even if you are a zombie.
Another angle view of the exploding landmine that the zombie stepped onto.
A landmine. No point in hiding them in real life when there are zombies around.
Another landmine.
Ouchy! Imagine having that in real life?
RATATATATATATATATATATATATA!!!
"Just keep coming, you creepies. The more of you creepies, the more fun this is!"
"C'mon closer so I could pump a shell into your brains, you creepy monsters!"
Squash!
In real life, the brain would be turned into mush if your head explodes, but hey, its just legos!
Some explosives.
"Get out of the way people! I can't wait to blow the creepies up!"
"Lets go inside the walls children, where it is more safer. I'll get you guys ice cream. C'mon, lets go! Grab my hands. We know . . ."
". . . Grandpa isn't going to make it . . ."
". . . but you mother might will."
"No daddy! I want to stay! I brought my BB gun with me! I want to get myself one of those creepies!"
"Which creepy should I get first, Dave?"
It looks like our sniper friend here has a little green friend named Dave.
Here is my well known barbed wire design.

Here are my zombie figures. Oh look, our beloved pizza deliverer has gotten infected too.
The family of four and their grandpa.
The new counter unit soldiers. I really like this picture alot.

Very nice i like the design of the barbed wire it was a very good idea i would have never thought of that oh and i like the fire with the zombie, basically i like the whole thing
Ahhh, I like the scene you´ve created here a lot! Very nice atmosphere, I can almost see the figs moving, guns firing, brains gettin´ splattered, etc.! Your barbed wire design is really cool! Cheers. ~Marc
This is amazing ! Thanks for joining the Moc off group My fonished product looks a lot like this one P.S. when u see it you"ok no I was ispired by yours
Very good MOC. Only problem was actually with your story. The fact you continuously referred to zombies as creepies was annoying, as the actual model was detailed and appeared professional. Even "creeps" would be better. Plus check out my stuff at http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/29780
I like it

I really like this one. However, you could improve it. Take a 3/4 picture of the minifig with the head turned to the camera. You could also take the picture from a low angle, like you look upwards to the minifig. That would be cool. ~M

I lose. I actually thought this was one of your weaker mocs (still decent of course) but it was up to the judges and they preferred you. Next time I have a moc off, I think I am gonna choose the judges :P
Nice job, I love how the sniper has a frog, it kind of makes sense seeing as snipers go crazy because they have killed so many people.(they see every head shot as close as the frog is to the sniper.) superb job thought. Could you check out my newest creation? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/135785
You are really good in making action-shots. The blood effects look very cool. However, if you would make a more detailed environment (add a building, statue, make the ground SNOTty) then your mocs would look so much better. The zombies look very neat. Maybe you can put them in a New York-type of city next time? With a road and tall buildings. I'd love to see more apocalypse mocs! ~M
I'm a bit late with responding. As for you homepage picture, it looks exactly like the last one, but that's a good thing. It's not too dark or anything. Congratulations with your succeeding! I don't know much about the American school system, but I do know that we don't rate with a A's, B's, C's etc, but with numbers up to 10.0. Do you have different levels of highschools? If so, which level do you do? ~M
Zombies are always awesome, but Zombies + landmines = win. Very nice dio. I like how you managed to pack so much action into so small a space. The Zombies are cool too. Good job!
Its good, but will you show the pilot standing next to it? And if you want me to see a another preview, just give me link to flickr. You know what I mean.
Why is it that zombies hate humans? I mean whats there motive against the living?! Nice vig. Ghostman I still do like the barbwire effect, it gives you a war zone feeling. Keep up the good mocs pal! ~CTF P.S. I posted an update on my home page which is pretty hard to miss on what i've been up to.
that is very cool! there is soooo much action/diolague (probally spelled wrong but who cares?) for such a small scene!!! I love cool affects and cool figs. Good job
oh, one more thing, I noticed that you used orangey red for blood, HIGH RECOMENDATION: transluecent reds. especially the S.N.O.T ones. and I didn't see your rando-oh yeah, 'dave'. :)
Ok, i'll cut right to it. You have my vote. Your build was a lot cleaner and has a lot more detail. I also liked your little side stories. Great work. -Dylan
HAHAHAHA. I absolutely love the figs in this diorama. And I can't forget about Dave. Nice job again Ghostman, but I am not sure whose is better. Lets leave that to the judges. Best of luck.
