In many places all across the world, there are humongous peaks, literally thousands of feet tall. Some people think they are just for looks, while others have a different idea in mind...
About this creation
These people are the people who live for thrills. These people are the climbers. They spend countless hours climbing peaks, hooked to nothing but a pick and a rope. One slip, and they are most likely dead. It is truly, the ultimate experience.
Anyway, here's the mountain as a whole, with a baseplate on the bottom for support. This moc is mainly to try out a new rock technique, and to simply honor my recent trip to one of the greatest states of the all, Colorado.
There's a neat forced-perspective look to the main picture. I think it would look a little better if the climbers were lower down and closer to the camera, though... it would make the effect more pronounced and make the peak look even taller.
Awesome....Colorado all the way!I've climbed tall mountains a lot(considering Western Colorado is the best for that) but I have never seen one with this much of a peak...most of the time they are just kind of flat on top.
Great idea for the MOC. I love the detail for the minfigs and the mountain. Its funny because when I was in Alaska I climbed a mountain too. I saw snow on the top of some of them as well. Anyway, you did an awesome job on it.
