Hoth Rebirth
This is a rebuilding of my Hoth/Echo base. This version is bigger, (hopefully) stronger, and set-up better for viewing and transporting (after the destruction of the last one from a trip to show it @ Legoland).
About this creation
Below is the overall layout, the journey begins. The overall layout of the Echo base mountain area will be 5'-9" wide by 5'-0" deep with an overall layout of 5'-9" by 12'-0". Above is what was left after I removed the remains of the old Echo base from the trailor.

Below the snow is falling and a mountain starts to grow

The left side of the mountain and one of the blaste doors in a closed position

The door to the control room with the light keypad. Lights purchased @ http://lifelites.com/

The other side of the mountain begins to grow

One of the armory/tool and accesory storage areas

A view of the left side of the mountain, speeder hanger bays, passage way and the wiring needed to light up the control room

Sick bay with Luke in the Bacta Tank, not done yet, but looks pretty good so far.

Awesome job does not even cover how your base looked. How did you get so many pieces? Glad you are rebuilding it.

Not really. I have a few star wars books for reference. It takes a bit of imagination and money too.
Quoting Marcus Forsberg Most impressive! Do you have a lineout/plan/scetch that you follow? It's beyond me to understand your enormous skill and patience, you're the most serious MOCer I've ever seen. Like the others, I can't wait to see the final result...
