1UP Mushroom from Super Mario Brothers
Something a little different from me, folks.
About this creation

This is a 1UP Mushroom from Super Mario Brothers in all of its LEGO glory.

This is the top view.

This is the bottom view.

This is from the left side of the Mushroom. Are you wondering how I made it stand up yet?

This is from the left side of the Mushroom.

Here is how I made the 1UP Mushroom in LEGO Mosaic form stand up on its own. I simply got 2 of those big 8x16 LEGO Base Bricks, coupled them with about 40 2x4 blue LEGO Bricks, and I got 48 1x1 green LEGO Bricks, 33 1x1 white LEGO Bricks, and 95 1x1 yellow LEGO bricks. The amount of bricks adds up to 218 LEGO Bricks, though there is room to add 80 1x1 light blue LEGO bricks to make the total jump to 298 LEGO Bricks. Personally, I like the blue background on the 1UP Mushroom myself, though.

Well, since I had nothing better to do, I figured that I would make a little bonus shot for you. It only took me five minutes but now the 1UP Mushroom has a little variant and it is the Super/Magic Mushroom. I really know how to waste time well now, do I not?

I have been seeing videos in places like YouTube, Blip, and other websites and webpages, not to mention pictures of such, where people have been building LEGO versions of objects from Super Mario Brothers and other video games. Well, as cool as those creations were, they seemed a bit off to me, so instead of just stacking LEGO Bricks on top of each other like a typical LEGO Super Mario Brothers or video game icon creator would do with their creations, I figured that I would do it in LEGO Mosaic mode myself. When I had discussed this with other people, they said that the reason that they did it the way that they did it was because a typical LEGO Mosaic form of the object would always fall over and then a stroke of genius was born. The reason that they had said that was most likely because typical LEGO Mosaic pieces were built on a LEGO Baseplate rather than on LEGO Base Bricks like my MOC. As you can clearly see, it is completely free standing, much like the other kinds of LEGO video game art that does not rely on a LEGO Mosaic format. Please let me know what you think about my creations, okay? Thank you.

Quoting The Last Warrior (Kylo Malcovich) Makea some morea Mario! Letsa go! (Huge Mario fanatic. XD) I know ALOT about Mario. And can play most pieces of Mario music ever made. Okay to this creation, instant classic. And did I just hear a Bullet Bill fire off in the distance? (hint about the Bullet Bill)
Well, Kylo, I'd really love to build the Bullet Bill but I really need more LEGO since part of my collection was stolen and I'd also need lots of 1x1 black, brown, and tan LEGO bricks and maybe a few more 8x16 base bricks (you know, those big LEGO pieces that look like base plates but they're thick like LEGO bricks) to get that built. Until then, it's a no-go, sadly. No parts means no new LEGO MOCs.

Quoting Seth Doroshuk nice mosaic. And sorry about your mean mean landlord :(
Thanks, Seth, but I'm not living in California anymore, well, at least for the time being, anyway. I'm living in Nevada and I'm going to possibly move to Las Vegas within a year or two and I'll also be going to the Art Institute of Las Vegas.

I will do that once I get a J-O-B, Kyle. Right now, my current state of unemployment is working against me in getting more LEGO, that, and the fact that LEGO is getting more and more expensive to buy, the fact that I also like to play video games, and the fact that I am in between looking for a new place to live (thank you, bad landlord for not caring about us...X() and that parts of my collection are in storage, with me, or still in Tennessee are the reasons why I have not been able to work on more LEGO creations. Hopefully, this will change in the future.

Quoting Dali Zheng The build is neat, but the photography definitely needs some work.
Yeah, Dali, I noticed that, too. Also, I noticed that you stopped by and actually commented on not only one of my creations but also on something that was not even LEGO Space related, which is really unusual even for you. I guess my creation really impressed you, did it not? At any rate, I took your advice and I tried to take a bit brighter of a picture for you. Hopefully, the quality of the picture is a bit better one than the other one but this is only a 2.0 megapixel camera (I think), so, naturally, quality IS a bit limited on such a camera. By the way, since you are here, why not also check out some of my LEGO Space things? I do have some things that are over there, too, you know.
