Well, after seeing some of the great mechs built by other users, I decided to put forth one of my own creations. It's a mark II since I've modified it here and there since it's original construction. This is my first creation on this website. I hope you all enjoy it! (And comment too!) Don't mind the backdrop to all these pictures...it's nothing fancy, just the area around my bed. (These pictures are just to show off the mech. I'll upload some better ones when I have some time.)
About this creation
This image along with the main one is showing my mech equipped with anti-ship(space) weaponry. The two hand held buster cannons would be the heavy firepower. The left shoulder mounts a missile launcher with a laser guidance system. The right shoulder has a smaller missile launcher with a cover (for those small pesky enemies that try to attack you while you shoot down their carrier).
This photo and next two show the mech's anti-mech armaments that would generally be used against other mechs and lighter vehicles such as tanks and small vehicles. This photo showcases the arm mounted gun/shield and a sheathed sword.
This photo shows the unsheathed sword and a stack of CDs?
Same pose as the previous photo, just at a higher angle and a slightly higher gun arm.
Okay, onto the individual weapons...
Buster cannons. Heaviest weapons in this mech's inventory (s0 far). Most destructive weapon in the mech's current inventory.
Both missile launchers. Shows both the open and closed positions of the launcher that fires smaller missiles. The big missile launcher has really big missiles.
The arm mounted gun. Powerful and without recoil, it's ideal for taking out slower moving targets. The sword can take care of about everything else.
In these two photos, especially the second image, the gun can clearly be broken down into one arm mounted double cannon and two handheld guns.
And the sword. My favourite part of this mech. Unsheathed, it's taller than the entire mech. Sheathed, the sword could also function as a makeshift shield.
A rear view of the mech, showing the propulsion system (sort of) which keeps it off the ground.
Looking badass. I really like to point the guns at the camera, don't I?
Well, that's all for now.
Until next time, this is Sociometrix signing off.
