AG 09 - PM01 "Indra" Psi-Mech
The first Mech requiring a pilot with psychic abilities! Bionicle parts are less than 25%
About this creation
Behold Indra, the God of War!

The current zenith of Archeogenis bio-research, the Indra is the first BioMech to fully interface fith a Psychic operative.

This BioMech features both strong plating and extensive power shielding. Moreover, the extensive Psi-Array throughout his body projecs an additional defensive field controlled by the pilot's mind.

The model's agility makes it perfect for martial arts practice!

About 17 meters tall (40 cm fig scale) horns excluded.

One of the principal weapons designed for the Indra is the Plasma Trident.
This hybrid weapon features anti-plate vibroblades and a Plasma Projector.

Although the Plasma Projector is already a powerful weapon, fully capable of melting most platings...

... when the plasma flux is overloaded by the pilot's powers, its effect becomes utterly devastating (side effects of this procedure include overheating, malfunction or even the explosion of the projector's lens).

"I am the Overcomer!"

Perhaps the most dreadful weapon used by the Indra is the QUAD GATLING GUN.

16.000 rpm, effective at 2.8 km (3.6 km when the weapon is overloaded by the pilot's power), this lady fires ammo as long as your forearm, and is classified as a weapon of mass destruction. Also called "The Dark Lady", or TDL Gun.

HELL YEAH!!!

You may or may not notice the Bionite shield on this right arm.(Bionite is a condensed layer of inhert Ancient cells)

The most astounding fact is that the immense physical prowess of this BioMech still allows a certain level of agility, even when carrying the TDL and its full ammo supply.

This was immediately seen during some early tests...

...when the Indra proved to be able to lift a fully armed BM04 with ONE ARM!

(No supports of photo tricks for this one! It's just as you see it)

The cockpit inside the chest hosts only the most stable Psi-Elites, yet the Indra's own AI is fully capable of taking on even some of the most challenging missions.

In fact, the pilot's main job is simply to power up the Indra's weapons, defenses and regeneration when and where necessary, quite like an additional generator.

Cockpit open. You may notice the 2 "small" gatlings un the sides.

Usually, however, the pilot (Here we see Cap Fax) and the Mech work together to better accomplish their task.

The pilot can also control remotely an unmanned support glider (yes, it's the same you saw balancing on my thumb in the Evinrude's page).

See how it balances on Indra's finger :)

Although the Indra features 4 wings, it can't fly.

The wings gather heat and EM radiation from the environment to recharge the PM01's Core Cells, just like the Plasma Breather equipped by some BM06 "Daimajin" models.

The PM01 "Indra" can perform a devastating final attack, called the "Threshold"

The pilot's full power is unleashed and amplified by the full Psi-Array in a 360 burst, annihilating almost anything at medium range in a searing field of white light.

Alas, this technique claims the pilot's life, when used.

The full MOC. Although it looks quite Bionicle, more than 75% of its mass is System and Technic.

I hope you took the time to go through it, and that you enjoyed the tour.

NOTE: Yes, part of the design is inspired by Ganmen from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann :)
NOTE2: Yes, the Quad Gatling Gun is as tall as a buiding from a good City layout :)

The picture where it's holding up the BM04 (went back to check that's right) is testament to its design and poseability (or your patience). A falconer mecha would be cool. Can just imagine the gattling guns either side of the pilot whirring away. Great job!

Quoting Greyhein :) So does the PM stand for Perfectly Massive, or Pitiless Monstrosity? Astoundingly original mech, Yuri! (and a nice use of the Mask of Light!)
It stands for Psi-Mech (how original...)

As always, EPIC!!! But, I saw your "I Hate Summer" MOC, and you asked me to make a suggestion; I don't know what the long black arm holding the blade-thing above the mech's "head" is for, but I'm not exactly a mech expert, so I may just be dumb. Anyway (as always) I love it! Especially the incredible flexibility and the strength of this MOC.

Quoting Knoll grey what sort of biotechnology do you incorperate into your machines? like, do they have organs instead of machinery. i have been looking into this type, but i really can't get around the inevitable weakness of making my machines susceptible to disease and junk. it does mean smaller machines though. we should make a biotech group! weird some people out with disturbingly realistic talk.
You can join Archeogenis http://www.mocpages.com/group_mocs.php?id=4828 bor Biotech. Some details you can find in this vig http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/129872, other than that Archeogenis techs are still machines made out of techno-organic material more than they are mechanical organisms. Yet they have for sure a circulatory and nervous system (convenient against EMP). Their only organ is the Brain Core, both CPU and power source. You can check out the chronologic series to devise more http://www.mocpages.com/folder.php/52282. I believe I've been thorough :)

Quoting General Hess wow, great work i love the design. it must have taken so much time to make it..amazing job!!....G.H..

Quoting Gringat The Stormlord I's a'a'ain'! *clicks jaw back into place* It's amazing! - But, I wonder: are the Archeogenis Biomechs all bipeds, and would a quadruped or tank-trak mech be out of the question...?
Since they are reverse engineered from extremely ancient biologic war machines, their design follow the original one (but smaller in size). You can check Archeogenis group for more information and the timeline http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/4828

Quoting Hunterkiller 33 good to hear from you again yuri i like the overall design but i think you got a little over inthusiastic with the thornax launchers
Thornax Launchers RULE! They can be anything: insect feet, antennas, horns, weapons, spines, tails, armor and whatever else. Their design is cool and elegant and they are quite more "silverish" than other Bionicle gear :)
Quoting Chris Phipson AWESOME Yuri! I love the chest cockpit design! And that backstory is great! I sure hope the pilot's don't have to use that last weapon too often... I think psychics may be a bit hard to come by. ~ Chris.

Amazing, this is certainly one of your best creations,im really impressed.I think that the only two things that could be done on him is take that middle horn,or make it smaller, and give him some bigger arms. And when i say bigger,i mean larger, not longer. But other than that this MOC is a quite unique piece of art, congratulations!
