Update May 23 2012: Here we go again... Update Dec 28 2009: Why, Mocpages, WHY?
Update August 2006: Some people don't seem to understand that this moc was a joke. I've edited the title of the page so that the goofy nature of the moc is more obvious to even the thickest mocpages viewers.
May 2003: This is a stylized rendition of the feared Imperial Star Destroyer. I couldn't pass up this fun design, and took advantage of the angle possibilities offered by the white windscreen pieces. Admittedly innacurate in many details, but that wasn't the point of the model.
you know, there was once a guy who got his death star as MOTD, but that DS was only 1x1 round brick in dark blueish grey, but back to the ship, i really like the simplicity of this one, just nice and clean, (the only thing i personly would point a finger upon, would be the color, but you know what, it works =)
GRATZ on MOTD
I believe your scale of 1 stud = 287 ft. is actually off by ~ 7.43827f ft. Failure to correct this fact in your write up may bring your membership in Clonetard Association up for review. Nice star destroyer btw Woody.
I just think that some people don't understand the humor in this MOC. Fair enough, the model is not very accurate to the design in the movies, but in my opinion, in such a model the accuracy or the scale is not important. It is important to make a deadly warship look funny. And you managed to do that with perfect part usage. That's why I give it a 5. The rating it deserves.
