Well, the decal must exist, you can't draw on it, its possible to print but I don't know how, so the "star" (your example) must already exist, must be already printed, you can take little pieces and "draw" with them, but its kind hard! Cool! I will explain you ok? Do you build plane kits? Any way, no matter, I took a decal that was for the tail section of a B-24 Liberator (a heavy bomber) then, I cut these decal in little pieces, put them in the water and apply them in the clone! When you put the decal in the clone it should be still wet, take a paper or a napkin to remove the water, let it dry for some time, yes, if the decal its old, it can fall easily if you touch it, so I recomend to don't touch the decal, but if it as a Revell or Italeri decal (they have the best decals!) and its not old (old I mean 10,9 years) they will stay in the clone better, but they are still removable, but only with your nail and with the intention of removing. Did I explained well? If it still confusing don't be shy, tell me and I will explain again! Lawrence_
