It's builders like you who make me feel ashamed to see my MOCs. :) I really like how you used the orange pieces in the rocket.

@Jesse long LOL!! you believed that miniseries?? The writers who wrote that re-wrote science to make that work!! Anyhoo, I know that was off topic, back to the model, that spaceship make me think of the rocket from walace and gromit. Great model, can't wait to see your next one!

Great old school/flash gordon-esque look to it. I love the robot adjusting the controls.

I love the Retro Rocket design. Very cool stuff. I think it's the colors that really draw me in. Orange and dark bley work well together. The greeblness is quite nice as well. Oddly enough this kind of reminds me of 'Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out'...which is a very good thing. Excellent work.

I wonder if the Moon is being drawn closer to the earth because of a brown dwarf? I am sorry but I guess I watched that Impact miniseries that was on ABC recently and I was influenced to say that because of you mentioning the whole thing about the Moon coming closer to the Earth. At any rate, I got to second whoever said that this MOC looked like something that was out of science fiction shows from the 1930s to the early 1960s. If there were only a movie of this and LEGO forms of the MST3K crew to riff on it, then I would be happy. Normal view, normal view, NOR-MAL VIEWEWEWEWEWEWEWWWEW...ACK-HACK-COUGH, etc.

This is excellent. However, I need some more castle and less existential (even though I can see you're castle roots coming out of the walls here)

Pretty tall order for our science guy hero. I always enjoyed stories of home scientists building rockets in their basements since I was a boy, so you know I'm interested in what's going to happen next. see ya. garth
