The Opportunist (Mandalorian Destroyer)
Well, it took me two nights, but i am finally finished my newest and biggest MOC ever! This ship is 3' 2" long, 8" wide and 11" tall! I didn't realize how long three feet actually was until i finished the inner skeleton of this beast! i started at the engines and worked my way forward this time unlike most of my other ships that i started at the nose (i thought i'd shake things up a bit!)Anyway, this ship's story follows on the same lines as my previous ship, Aay'han. The empire never existed and the Mandalorians are the all powerful force in the galaxy. This is just one of the hundreds of Mandalorian Destroyers. The Opportunity is captained by Boba Fett's granddaughter, Mirta Jev. The long sword-shaped design makes this large ship incredibly hard to hit. The top of the vessel has one extremely large ion cannon that is used to protect fighters coming in and out of the hanger bay right underneath it. It also has two twin-barreled laser cannons on each side of the Destroyer, in between the hanger bay and the engines/bridge. Also it is covered in small turrets that protect the upper half of the ship. Unfortunately the underbelly of the ship is unprotected because of two reasons. first, every ship needs a weak spot and two, i completely ran out of parts, so i couldn't put anything on the belly of the ship. Well, i hope you like it and if you could leave me a comment and a rating that would be great! Also if you are curious about what i'm working on next or what i'm going to be building soon, check out my home page!
About this creation

here is an overall view of the entire ship. i don't know if you can see this but if you look near the first support you can see a tiny green speck, yah that's a Boba Fett minifigure! y'know for scale purposes. ;)

here is the front view of the ship from an angle.

here is the back of the ship from an angle.

a side view of the nose.

another shot of the nose from a different angle.

This is a side view of what i like to call the neck section. It is in between the nose and the hanger bay.

a side view of the hanger bay. i'm not happy with this picture because it turned out too dark. So, sorry about any of the pictures that are dark.

here is an angled view of the section in between the hanger and the engines.

this is a side view of the engines and the bridge. This is my favorite part of the entire ship by the way!

here is the engines. i'm extremely happy with the engines! They turned out really well in my opinion. And what is this? Renlek and Sir Arrifu are trying to get in on the opportunist's photo shoot. shame on you guys! you had your turn! ANYWAY! back to the ship...

here is a close up of the bridge.

here is a top view of the bridge and engines.

and a top view of the hanger bay.

here is a close up of the large ion cannon turret i mentioned in the description.

and finally a first person shot of Fett standing in front of his granddaughter's ship.

This thing is out of control! If you still have it, take it outside on a sunny day and get some more pictures. It's definitely worth doing some CGI effects!

Quoting David Hillenbrand Wow! This is great! I love the engine arrangement, and the neck looks especially cool! What set are those yellow swirley decals from?
I'm pretty sure they are from the sepratist dropship. I thought they would look good on it so I stuck them on.

You have something to be proud of here. The nose is very nice, and the greebles are done well, the back you are right to be satisfied with as the snot and the pattern are nicely done. Great job.
