Calamity's Arrow is sort of like my own custom Zoid. I built it in about 2 hours as an after-thought MOC. Still, I'm proud of the result.

Unique (and cool) name, back mounted rail cannon, and wing fins. What's not to love? This little guy kinda reminds me of Storch because of the red, even though Storch is an Archeopteryx-type, while this one is a dragon-type. Personally, I would have wanted to see more weapons, since most dragon-types are heavily armed to the teeth (though not all. Look at Redler for example), I would have wanted the wing to be able to move up and down (every flying Zoid that I can think of has moving wings), and I would have added a tail if it were me, since he is a dragon after all, and dragons are supposed to have tails, but given the scale that he is built at, this is completely understandable, and these sort of are just my preferences (though it also kind of makes me wonder how the design might be interpreted at a larger scale). I especially love the fins with the thrusters at the wing tips (I'm surprised that this design feature hasn't been used in a Zoid before. The toes are another great feature. Finally, I always love smooth, stud-less designs. And this one is most certainly no exception; it is as sleek as an arrow. |

Ever seen D.gray-man? That show is my current favorite. It's even rated higher than TTGL on Animeseason. Watch it for yourself and decide. I recommend it. It's an epic show. Episode 80 is my next one to watch. Totally worth watching: http://www.animeseason.com/dgray-man/ |

Wait a sec... I thought I commented on this already... weird... well It's very nice. The scales on the back make it look even more like a dragon. One thing I don't understand is the head why is it shaped like that? Not that it's a bad thing, it's very good, but what made you think to use a horse head? ~M0535
The horse head was used because I've been itching to use it on a MOC in an odd way. |

Cool idea - I like how the thrusters and weapons maintain a seamless shape. The head does seem a little hollow - not sure if that's what you were going for. All in all, very creative! |
