About this creation
BFC-DSP (PO/PV/PR)
Press Release:
Pimm Industries is proud to announce the first flight of the BFC-DSP. The BFC-DSP is a deep space probe, which is specifically designed to unravel the mysteries of black holes.
Up until now our knowledge of black holes has been from observation from afar. However, the BFC is designed for deep insertion into the black hole in order to better understand these mysteries of the universe – to literally go where no man has gone before, which is always the dream of any explorer. Although, many divisions of Pimm Industries were involved in designing this beauty, it is really our France division that should receive the majority of the credit for this beauty. Dr. A. Nelle worked long and hard on the design that was best able to withstand the pressures found within a black hole.
The first flight will be the Mittens Nebula followed by a trip to the TOT Galaxy for deep exploration of the three black holes that have been noted in each area.
As pictures speak louder than words, please enjoy these pictures of the BFC.

The BFC is not designed for full insertion into the black hole; rather, on the long nose with it’s sensory arrays is meant to go into the hole. As such the fuel pods near the base and below the ship prevent complete insertion and potential loss. This is due to the difficulty of retrieving a ship from a black hole should it be inserted too deeply.

The extreme gravity of the black holes an draw the fuel right out through the nose of the ship from the fuel pods: please note the optional armoured ring around the base of the ship right before the fuel pods, which helps prevent this from occurring.
Inspiration for this design comes from Steef de Prouw’s Longships
I would like to dedicate this build to some of the finest people on MOCpages:
Heather Braaten – what’s not to love.
Chris Phipson – I put him in the middle, because I just know he would want to be the meat in this sandwich.
Stacy Sterling – our ambassador and maybe an even better builder than her husband; but what isn’t in doubt is that she’s a heck of a lot cuter than he is ;-)
Don’t even ask where I got the parts from, just click on the link: Bricklink

I'm glad one of your creations caused such a storm, as without it I may not have discovered your other MOCs. This looks almost metallic, and the use of x-pods, or whatever they're called, is inspired. I usually have little interest in Sci-Fi models, but when done this well, they can blow my mind. 5 stars |

This is My favourite Creation of ALL TIME! I was thinking how great and amazing it was, when I realised what it represented. I am feeling rather sick now. Especially after the details of exporing further into black holes. To Think I loved that MOC? No but It is still my favourite, don't ask how, it just is, I just like the colour and details, without it mankind would perish. I've been looking at all the great moc's SO many amazing ones, but even Mark Kelso's Invisible arm and that GIANT mountain with the train, The hundreds of amazing moc's the work of Heathergirl... So many awesome moc's and out of all of them, I love this the most,I'm serious. 10000/1 |

Could Overly Critical Knocks & Blatant Anecdotes Lure Less? I wouldn't know how to answer that question myself. That is one beautiful BFC you have there, and it should be noted for the record that I have never said that to anyone else, except for that one time in Juarez, but, uh, that's another story.
So, I'm guessing you did the ole sort by color trick, and then bought every silver piece available, Convoluted Or Crazy, Kudos!
