I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more Spongebob.
About this creation
 "One morning, as Gregor Samsa was waking up from anxious dreams, he discovered that in his bed he had been changed into a monstrous yellow sponge. He lay on his soft, squishy back and saw, as he lifted his head up a little, his flat, porous abdomen divided up into a neat shirt and slacks combo. From this height the blanket, just about ready to slide off completely, could hardly stay in place. His two legs, pitifully thin in comparison to the rest of his rectangular form, dangled helplessly before his eyes."
-Franz Kafka, "The Metamorphosis"

"It was on a dreary night of November that I beheld the accomplishment of my toils. With an anxiety that almost amounted to agony, I collected the instruments of life around me, that I might infuse a spark of being into the lifeless, yellow thing that lay at my feet. It was already one in the morning; the rain pattered dismally against the panes, and my candle was nearly burnt out, when, by the glimmer of the half-extinguished light, I saw the bright blue eye of the creature open; it breathed hard, and a convulsive motion agitated its thin limbs."
-Mary Shelley, "Frankenstein"

"Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter,
In there stepped a stately Spongebob of the saintly days of yore.
Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;
But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door -
Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door -
Perched, and giggled, and nothing more."
Edgar Allen Poe, "The Raven"

Sweet! I've been waiting to see this series since you mentioned it at BW. And you did not disappoint! This is awesome work Alex. Your pictures and lighting effects still amaze me and really help to create the ambiance for all three. I am most impressed that you included Poe in your series. I thank you for that. |

Alas poor Spongebob, I knew him Squidward. A fellow of infinate jest, of most excellent fancy. He hath bore me upon his back a thousand times. Now, how abhorred in my imagination it is, that here hung these lips that I have kissed I know not how oft. Ewww, who kissed spongebob? And I thought is was only Phipson that bore people upon his back? oh wait, I am Phipson... *checks* Yeap, still me, ok. ~ Chris. |

It's funny that while I spent a week in Las Vegas, all I did was swim and the pool and watch SPONGEBOB! |

True horror is Spongebob. I would have liked to see a little bit of Lovecraft in there, maybe 'The Sponge out of Time' or 'Call of Spongethulhu'? Great little scenes. |

Humorous. I'd rather be a sponge than a cockroach. If a beautiful girl found you in the bathtub, you'd be squished if you were a cockroach. But if you were a sponge? I'm just sayin', washing the tub sounds better than being squished. It would be better to be a loofa though. see ya. garth |
