This is a micro-scale version of the Halifax Metro Centre I made, and hoped to finish in time for Ryan Degener's stadium contest. Oh well...
About this creation
This is a picture of the back of the arena, where the spectators enter, which in real life is right in the shadow of Citadel Hill. You can see the partially finished glass "facade" (I guess that's what you'd call it), and the round glass room to the right of the facade.
This is the real picture of the Halifax Metro Centre, looking from Citadel Hill
This is a picture of the lower bowl, part of the upper bowl, ice, and partially finished skyboxes. When done, I am going to put a temporary roof on top, and take pictures with and without the roof on.
This is a picture of the skyboxes, lower bowl, and ice during the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships.
This is an overall view of the Halifax Metro Centre, and shows how big the building really is. All of the building I tried to make as close to scale as I could, and I think it turned out pretty well so far!
