2008 Toyota iQ
Do you want to save the planet? But you don't want to buy a Smart? Here's your lucky break! The iQ! As you can see it's....nothing...like...a Smart. Okay, yes it is very much alike! This car was released in Japan in 2008 by Toyota but won't reach American shores until 2011, most likely sold under the 'Scion' brand name. Go green with small cars people! Aw...who am I kidding?! Buy the biggest, most powerful, gas-guzzling behemoth you can find! Yeah.
About this creation
Side view. Parallel parking difficulties? A thing of the past! Child rear-seat safety...not so much!

Back view. I like how the iQ has a low roof-line. And good news American people! I heard the Scion version is even better looking!

Doors open! Sorry, there's no engine because of the limited space on this model.

Interior. Pretty comfortable from what I can tell.

More of the interior. Computers and junk. Toyota figures that technology is what will interest younger buyers.

Nice work :), can you please post some instructions to this if it's not to much trouble? And also, where did you get your wheels? I always wanted to make a small car like this.

This comes really, really close to the real thing. The rear of the scale model looks a little different, not that I say it is not looking good, because it looks greeeaaat! It looks like the rear of a 2003 Renault Mégane, that is something that fascinates me.

Great work again buddy :) I still prefer BIG cars with big engines; I had to choose between the 2.5 and 3.5 Altima, and guess what!? yeah you're right I picked the 3.5 ;) never mind, nice car any way... Oh I have a question for you, does it fit a mini-fig?? :0 one last thing, CHECK OUT MY MOCS!!! FLAMIES... bye :p

That is so accurate to the real thing! It's a nice compact car too, but shouldn't it be right hand drive?

I googled "2008 Toyota iQ", and I'm just here to say you got it spot-on. The shape AND the color are perfect! Nothing wrong with being friendly to the environment, but it's too bad we have sacrifice so much speed to do it. (I've heard these cars handle really well, though!)

Quoting Ape Fight Great version of a great car! We love little cars like these in the UK (much more fun and better handling than a big lump). I've only ever seen white IQs, so yours is spot on colour-wise. One thing you did miss though was the 3+1 seating. Otherwise a cool little MOC. (P.s Aston Martin are rebadging these in a year or so. Yes, really!!)
haha! Thanks! Yeah, I knew about the Aston Martin version as well! That's just awesome :D
