John Deere 755D Crawler Loader
Deere 755D crawler loader radio controlled with linear actuators.
About this creation
1 XL motor for each track, 1 XL motor to raise lower the arm, 1 medium motor to tip the bucket. 3+1 linear actuators including log grapple. Log loader uses an extra medium motor and linear actuator to close grapple, so I had to add a third receiver for that part.

Battery comes out easily.......

Attempted to hide all the drive gears under the tracks

With log loader attachment

Quoting Sam McLernon Quick question, how do you control your motors? I mean obviously you have either a wired or wireless remote, but do the motors tie into a circuit board or something with a receiver that connected to a remote??
Hey Sam, the motors are controlled by a receiver which operates on infrared. like a TV remote. Each receiver has two outputs, and there are 4 channels that can be used by up to 4 receivers.....so you could have up to eight functions in one model, ie:drive, steer, raise arm, tilt bucket, outrigger control,winch,etc...I quit building legos for a few years until they started selling these remote control parts, much more challenging and fun than something that sits on a shelf. Hope this helps. If you're interested, Lego has a fully functional remote controlled excavator that goes on the market this fall, model 8043. Later
