YES I DO! the red one was my first bionicle and set and the green one was my brother's! i took it apart at one point in time, but i eventually decided to find the parts and rebuild him! he's fairly intact still! thank you for bringing back good memories!

yes they are the best(althoght one previous ones the borock? where good) I had Kopaka Gali but my freind has mostly all of the newer and some old ones he is black fear on moc.

I have some duplicates of them (in addition to all 6). I prefer their story which was great back then. The guys were great and new but they have improved-they've just gone from rugged bio-mechanical beings with little armor to armored and shiny heroes. I think some of the new stuff has been pretty bad though (HF and some of the makuta).

Hey, I was missing the green one, too! Except it was the the green Bohrok, Lehvak. You actually found all the pieces for the six Toa Mata? Nice! I got Gali about six years after she was released, and I lost her mask and hooks. The only thing I dislike about these guys is their lack of armor, but their weapons and masks easily make up for that.

I beg to differ. Glatorians are the best! I agree that most of the new Bionicle series aren't good (for example the piraka generation good guys), but the first generation isn't the best. They don't have any weapons and can't even bend arms or legs! Glatorians are the best!

Yes, I remember "These Guys", and love 'em! I agree that the story is now terrible; everything was fine until Vakama said "You are not the first Toa!" and destroyed everything. I don't have any of the first generation Toa, and only have Kopaka Nuva and some later Toa that I got from relatives, but I'd love to have the original six.

I got Kopaka for the first one, and then when the second edition came out (Which was as awesome as this one) i got a bohrok and the Nuva Kopaka. I still have them built in my room. After that, the story went downhill with the matoran. i have the Toa of Light guy though.

Aah, good times... I got all six of them when I was like eleven, and I gotta say, you're right, now LEGO's just spoiling it up. Tahu, Gali, Lewa, Kopaka, Pohatu and Onua (the order in which I got them :P ) were, are and will remain my favorite Bionicle characters. I wish LEGO would make revamped editions of the Toa, with the same masks, the same weapons and stuff, but to make them more articulated, all by staying true to the original ones. Thanks for the memories :)

These were the best for several reasons *sigh* i miss the old days, the new plot with the new universe is dull and confusing, after the Nuva's Bionicle went beyond downhill,it jumped off a cliff, commercial suicide in my opinion. back in the days me and my friend used to have bionicle wars and we would have them fight eachother with their little swords, *nostalgia insues*

Although this isn't really a MoC, It's still good to remember classics. However, I don't really think they've gone downhill. Trust me, if you were born in 2006, got all the 2009 canisters, then you would think those were unforgetable classics, and a couple years later, complain about how "THE NEW BIONICLE SUCKS. ALL IT IS, IS A COLLECTION OF PLASTIC MOLDS THAT YOU CAN STICK TOGETHER." I especially think it's funny when people say "Launchers are the worst thing since evil!" When you would have liked Launchers if you were born in that Bionicle Era. It's like the circle of Life, except everyone likes to whine over things that won't change.

Wow, this brings back memories. Mostly of me and my friend having full-fledged bionicle wars. It was awesome to have Kopaka tear down Tahu, only to rebuild them again and start over. Truely the best bionicle set. I have all of them, 100% complete, cases and all. Right now they are on my desk serving as my favorite knic-knacks.

Totally agree with you about it going down hill. Lego screwed the entire thing by molding a gazillion new and useless parts for each new product, instead of using a clever combination of older parts. I lost interest after the first generation as well....

These Bionicle were the best in my opinion. I remember coming home from school and seeing that large package addressed to me from lego and I knew instantly what it was. It was one of my happiest days of my childhood. I still have mine as well, although they're in their tubes and covered with dust I'm sure.

good job! i agree with evry1 else. these guys cant be beat. heres my ranking of the series, (on a 0-10 scale) from '01 to '09... Original: 10! Toa Nuva: 9-ish, 8.5 Metru: 5 (only because of matau lol :P) Ignika: 0 Mahri: 0 Phantoka: 3 (because they brought the old ones back, and because they attach together, but mostly because of first reason :P) Mistika: 3 (same reason as above...) Glatorian: 1.5 (they found a way to continue bionicle even though the last comic ended with mata nui floating through space...) those are my raatings. any1 agree?

These guys weren't neccessarily the best, but they're certainly different than today's. Ever since the Piraka in 04 or 05, everything has the same basic build. A unique weapon here, rare armor there, low-quality pieces everywhere, but they're all the same basic thing.

Pohatu was actually my first Bionicle. It really was a tragedy when gears began to receed.

i remember the first series of them. i had all 6 of the second series whick somehow mysteriously disapeared in the attic. i remember watching kids playing with the first series and longing for just one. then i missed them. the series stoped and the second series started. the new ones suck!!! but the older ones were them best.

I remember always loving these old guys. I tried my hardest to buy every little thing that came out, and I thought that each one was great! I bought Bionicle non-stop until they came out with the Metru Nui line. Then it got weird, really weird. I did like the original toa, but I thought that the Tao Nuva looked a lot better, and were well designed. But I gotta say, my favorite bionicle species (or whatever they are) was the Rahkshi. They looked awesome, and they all had these cool little staffs that they used. oh man, it was great! I even have the original comics, up intil like issue 17 or something, when they first introduced Metru Nui. They're all in great condition, but I'm missing issues 4 and 6. Anyway, I have to read them again, because the original story was great, and the characters were Awesome! What's with the new 2009 Bionicle line? dose it even have a story to it, or is LEGO just creating weird looking figures? All well, it's too bad Bionicle came to this, but we have to remember the good times!

Man, I do remember those... My cousin had all of them, and the whole second series, and then about half of the third series. We would take them apart and build really cool monsters out of the humanoids and combine them into massive creatures... and then my six year old brother would take it apart and make some strange conglomerate aberration... good times.

These were the best of the best, the originals. I got the brown one, the black one, and the red one. This was when I actually liked Bionicle. I feel Bionicle has deteriorated over the years, and I wish Lego would release some Bionicle like this; simple, fun, creative. Unfortunately I sold all of my Bionicle, however, I just bought a huge tub of Lego, and it had the full series two, with some duplicates! I'll put those Bionicle pieces to good use.

I remember these guys, I have all of them fully assembled sitting on the top of my wardrobe, overlooking Mata Bedroomui - I remember my mum giving me Tahu and Gali as a present before we went on the plane to England in 2001 (Australia -> England = 21 Hour Flight!)
