LegoŽ Micro Submachine Gun 89 (W-89)
A small LegoŽ rubber band submachine gun capable of holding 10+ rubberbands!
About this creation
An open view of the mechanism.

The gun loaded with 10 rubber bands.

Another close up of the mechanism.

The rubber bands. (10 of them)

The rubber bands loaded, should be everyother gear tooth apart.

The clip removes!

Just push the clip in to lock it.

Well, this has been a simple project from the getgo. I have long been tired of the capacity of my LegoŽ guns. The other day I was watching the famous "GumGun" video on youtube, and I looked at it closely. I figured out what I thought was the mechanism. So I quickly rushed to my room to find all the parts. Luckly I had them and created a pistol. I was amazed at the capacity! But, the gun was tiny and didn't shoot very well. So, I added a better barrel and made this gun. It is sorta based off of a Tec-9, but not 100% accurate. Anyway, the handle came from my Thompson along with the clip. But I also incorperated some extra features. Like the easy reload wheel, the idea came from Hoang Phong. This feature is great because instead of using an uncomfortable gear to turn and load, now just turn this! Also the clip lock came from Tom Jongejans. Currently the gun can only hold 10 rubberbands. But the tension is so low on the mechanism, that it probably could hold 20 rubberbands with a bigger loading gear. There are instructions for the gun below, and hopefully the mechanism instructions will be made soon. I still have to get around to that. In the future there may be a video for it, but I probably won't have the time for it. I hope you like it. These small projects really do bring great results! Thanks for looking as always.

Quoting Tom Jongejans I love it! It looks awesome! But what's the RPM?
Ahhh, that is a good question. If you "bump" fire it like you did on your Thompson, you probably could get all 10 out in 2 seconds. Haven't tried it yet though.

Quoting Alan 1207 10 rbs and up to 20 thats sick!! I love the size of it you can take the gun in one pocket and the magazine in the other! Perfect for pissing off my teachers!!! Great gun Weston!
I DO NOT recommend taking this to school. Especially when you go to a high school, where they can charge you for having a gun. But, you could use this on a sibiling, (a little sister will do). Thanks for the comment!
