Good and just to let you know thats a class II due to the shorter comm center on top of the conning tower |

Pretty good, but the question I have is that did you make this from scratch, or did you just take the set and modify? |

Outstanding work! I'm blown away about the fact that you didn't even have the set, and STILL made it look better then the official! BTW don't listen to those people who *cough*think they know everything*cough* say that it's the set, I can clearly tell it's not. I looked hard at a picture of the real set, and could tell the many differences in yours, compared to the set. |

Quoting Muffin manifestation
It IS the 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer. Take pictures of it opened up so we can see how you got the slopes of the top down. Pics of the bottom? I noticed how you took none of the pictures that would give away that this was the same set.
Do you know how to read, I said I didn't have any of the sets and had internet references and also those engine parts are really common, I got mine for my Turbo Tank set. I really wish I could show you what you want to see but this was taken down months ago but you can clearly tell the difference if you actually look at how the slopes of the set, folds from the outside and mine does not |
|
|
And the engines are EXACTLY the same. |

You know what I've noticed about MOCpages? You build any sort of Star Wars Creation, and it gets 100 comments. Usually said creation doesn't even deserve the hundred comments. Thank you for the generous offer, but to be honest: I don't know how to build this model, when I accept the challenge, I thought it couldn't be so difficult. But it was a challenge, which I failed on. And now the motivation for constructive results has left me. So you can post it, I must regretably in thanks decline. We can try a MocComparison another time, with an other model, if you want. Nethertheless thank you for the invitation to the comparison and thanks for your appreciation! - Kevin |
|
|
Hey, I'm really ashamed of the following things I have to say: I'm really sorry, but i have to cancel our comparison, because the time for me is running out and I did not get a good shape and front of the model. Even more exactly is that I have nothing. And now after hours of work without any acceptable results, I'm really desperate, depressed and frustrated. My muse have left me. I'm so sorry about it, because I was it, who pressures you for thursday. You can post your finished model now if you want. I hope your not to angry to me. - Kevin (you can delete this comment when you have read it) |

You know what.... I actuallmy prefer this to the original set.
(of course, I mean the small one... you've got more work to do to beat the UCS version lol!)
I tink lego's original star destroyer set is ruined b the minifigs and the way they try and pt them iin there; and wat's all the trans-neon-green for ?
Your set is better, it's to scale (no minifigs crammed in the bridge) , looks right, perfect colours, and... well, is just amazingly good looking :)

Nice work! While similar in size and shape to the official LEGO set, I think you have done a great job of really making it your own. The greebles on the outside really make it come alive and I like these more than what was done on the official set. Your work on the bridge area looks fantastic. Nice job! |

Now, about the moc:
Nice work here. I like what you did for the bridge deflector shields. This is also much better than the minifig set. Also, I love what you did for the bridge details, and the body of the ship, right below the bridge. Very nice job, looks very accurate to the real thing. Keep it up.
BTW Does this have an interior? |
