This is an incredibly difficult car to build, so apologies for not doing it particularly well. Took about 30 mins to build, and I could probably improve it. Feel free to build your own version of it, I'd love to see what other builders can do! :)

Indeed your best 5-wide until now. Instantly reconizable.
Thanks! You didn't need to rate it again though ;) |

Great representation of the classic Bond car! Will you be doing a re-vamp of it? If so, I can't wait to see it ! I'm working on my own DB5 at the moment :-)
Thanks! Hmm I'll see, but no promises! Cool, I look forward to seeing it! |

Very nicely done!
It's amazing how some people can make a lego car so recognisable even at such small scales...
Pah, 30 minutes! It takes me that long just to find the part I'm looking for sometimes... it's taken about three full days worth of work to finish my latest car :)
- Dan
Thanks a lot! I will admit to being a lazy builder, I rarely spend longer than half an hour on one build haha:) Thanks! :) |

This is an excellent creation. The DB5 looks great in red.
Thanks! I thought it looked a little odd at first, and if I had the pieces, I would have done it in grey, but its growing on me;) Thanks again! |

Thank you very much for joining the 5-wide club with this excellent creation ! I sure wouldn't have done any better especially in such a short time. I hope to see many more 5-wides from you on MOCpages in the future. Nothing wrong for me with the last picture. On the contrary... I would call that british humour going very well a classic british car.
Thank you very very much, I am delighted to be a member! Haha that is a nice way of putting it, thanks! :D |

I always like to see 5 wides. I think the front could be a little more rounded, but I can't say much because I haven't built in 5 wide scale. The flower looks pretty too.
I don't think I would be able to find a better arrangement for the front at this scale, thanks;) |

Its good, given the scale. For an Aston Martin, i'd use more curved dark grey bits. And the all-important trademark front grille. You can do that using a grey 2x1 grille piece on top of two others underneath in this scale.
I'll have a rummage around and have a go!
Thanks! The only reason its red is because red and yellow were the only pieces I had enough to spare to make this build, and a yellow DB5 would have looked more wrong haha:) I look forward to seeing yours, I've noticed there aren't many small scale DB5's around, although probably for a good reason. Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing yours!:) |
