Quoting Tom Simon The base wreckage came off really well. The next time you do water, try touches of light colors to suggest wave crests, and a little dark tan near the water for wet sand.
Thanks! I did actually think of those water techniques, but I don't have that many light blue or dark tan pieces.

very nice i like how you made pieces slanted and misshapen it really adds to the abandoned feeling of the whole thing. i do know that it is an abandoned clone base but i give it a 4/5 because i would have prefered to see some clones

It's pretty good, but I'd call it a Wookiee base; I just can't see clones going around making a base out of wood; that seems more in the Wookiee's line of work than the clones, though that gets into my other gripe. It's got some good detailing though; however, my biggest gripe with this was, and I hope you understand, a common flaw I find in Kashyyyk MOCs. People always seem to put in a beach. Kashyyyk isn't all beach! It's a forest planet as I recall; I think a real clone base would be first of all NOT on the ground. My second gripe is that Wookiees live in the trees; they indeed built some makeshift fortifications on the beaches, but nothing extravagant as in a base. A fair third of the clones in the 41st on Kashyyyk were sniping down on the droid army while another third were behind the Wookiee-constructed barricades and the final third were fronting the assault in vehicles. I'd recommend building something in white/grey for a Republic base, but doing what you did here with the overgrown foliage. So as I said before, nice detailing, bud in my humble opinion, not so great execution. ;)
