My new layout, in progress. (slow progress!). Based with the same urban-feel approach as my last layout. I am working with a lot of 3 wide windows in an effort to reduce scale a bit and challenge myself building. More emphasis on sculpted landscape this time around. Many vehicles are inspired or in some cases copied from designs of other builders.

Fantastic build as all have said. 3rd pic from the bottom. The dark grey building on the rights facade is magic. I can't finger why but it stole my attention immiediatly. |

as a 1 year old moc user,i m used of people having gems or a few goodies,...but ,this is ali baba s chamber! so much gems!
gritty? mmmh, maybe, but i d say it depends greatly on the figs configuration, and this ,
wonder allows a great palette of moods,
i m striving for a city too,so i m a bit curious as to why you chose,this over that,
since your work is professional!
i d enjoy a journal of some kind, some questions i have like; why depart from the lego street baseplates? or some wheels seems a little big on the trucks, any page with scale comparativeness ?your trains are awesome, they re 8 wide, any place you know, that shows how it s done? i d like to convert too!
if you could answer this,on my page, i d love it,and be honored, thanks, again awesome, professional work!

Your detailing style really makes your layout feel more like a city, from your roof details to the way your raised train track is supported. Looking great! |

You are the best builder of cityscapes and urban structures. You don't just get the details right in a dry sense. You capture the urban feel and flavor in a way no one else does. Keep up the good work. |

Has that downtown feel to it with the darker colored bricks. Great job! Gives me inspiration to build more than I already do! |

Is this based upon any real life town that you know, sir, or is it all in your head? Regardless of which is which, it is still a good job. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! My home page has more background on my approach, but my creations reflect neighborhoods in NYC, past and present, where I live. |

The words grit and LEGO usually do appear together but your gritty urban scene make the combination work. Great to see that you are still building! |

Most excellent. You have some amazing details and imaginative buildings in this city, I don't think anyone has ever made a carpet store or pool hall out of Legos. The city reminds me of the rougher parts of Dallas I used to drive through as a kid. Beautiful landscaping, sir! |
