To infinity and beyond!
About this creation
I know that many of you have been waiting to see my Buzz Lightyear minifig. Wait no more! He is finally here, with wings and all.
Buzz was my first minifigure. He started out with just a white backpack for wings. But FBTBforums user iPood helped me out a lot by showing me how I could make the wings. Lighyear's first wings were white flags, but then some other users at FBTB suggested that I use the wings that come with the MINI ARC-170. For Christmas, I got the ARC-170 and just got around to completing him.
If there's one regret that I have about Buzz, it's that he doesn't have a helmet. I tried several different methods, but nothing seemed to work out quite right. I've decided that he is a Toy Story 2 Buzz, who doesn't wear his helmet.

He looks great but I thought the wings were more the other way. It's been such a long time since I've seen it, I might be wrong. |

cool. if you get an Alpha Team set, you can get a clear dome that can fit over a minifig head so he can have his helmet. |

Great Buzz Lightyear. I never knew it possible to create head stickers. It wasn't until I read one of the reviews I thought it was a Lego made head.

very creative, i'm assuming this is Buzz, helmet retracted. For a cheap thrill try fitting a crystal ball over his head. that would be buzz with helmet on. |

It came! It fiiinally came! The Big One... This is better than your Woody, I think. The face fits him better. Everything else is great too. I love the backpack and wings. Too bad he doesn't have his dome helmet. Maybe you could turn a regular LEGO trans-white helmet backwards? That's not perfect, but the only other thing I can think of is Mr. Freeze's helmet when the Batman sets come out. But then, it's not perfect either. Oh well, still worth a 5/5. |

Awesome Buzz! The only thing I'm not crazy about is the head sticker, the edge shows too much. But that is not important...great fig! You should post the sticker files so that we can make our own! |

Very accurate, It reminds me back in the olden days when I was a kid. "You got a friend in me. You got a friend in me." |

I love it. The wings came out especially nice. I was thinking of doing one myself. Do you think that you can post the template for the body? I would love that. The only thing that I am not too keen on is the face, but that is only because you used paper....But I love the expressions and all the cool work that went into it. |
