MichLTC at Saline Train Show 2006
MichLTC display at Saline Michigan Train Show 2006
About this creation
Members of the Michigan Lego Train Club put up a 20 x 15 display at the Saline Train Show on February 18-19, 2006.

The MichLTC display in the Saline high school gymnasium. In addition to the Lego train layout, there were several HO and N scale layouts and hundreds of dealer tables.

Spencer's detailed Chicago EL train makes its way toward downtown.

Steve Ringe's module with numerous animated special effects including Minstorm controled automatic gate crossings, moving cars, swing sets, etc.

Down on the farm (built by Ken and Trever Koloda).

Ken's armory next to my downtown buildings. He recently upgraded the brickwork from standard red to reddish brown for a more realistic look.

My train station with the EL train behind it.

Another shot of the farm with Trever's tree house on the left.

Chris Leach's new dark red SUV factory... fueling our country's addiction to foriegn oil.

The mysterious Columbian Embassey (built by Lester).

Spencer's customized Santa Fe passenger train.

Someday all of MichLTC's train tracks may be balasted. The small freight station is modeled after the old Tyco HO scale station.

Terror alert status has been upgraded to Orange (extremely agitated) at the armory.

The El approaches the concrete canyon of downtown.

There is always a criminal to catch on the streets of Legotown.

Victorian mansion left surrounded with commercial buildings by the expansion of Legotown. It is probably doomed to be converted into a swanky restaurant.
