In 1939 in Kolibki was a border checkpoint between Poland and Free City of Danzig.
Pictures of breaking polish border barrier - just in the first day of war - for many years were a symbol of German strength and easy domination over Poles.
It turned out that the pictures were taken two weeks later actually. Earlier heavy fightings were taking place in that area.
German propaganda made a mistification.
Excellent rendition of a poignent, but dark moment in your country's history. I appreciate the way in which you show your love for Poland and all things Polish in a lot of your MOC's: in my opinion it adds more value to your MOC's, which are not only excellent, but also often very educational.
Such an interesting idea! These are fairly famous photos! I love how you made your pine trees and the idea to add the camera man was a good one! keep it up! =)
