MoonWereWolfAir has used this same song for one of her MOCs, but I feel this is more fitting for mine, considering it is a Dark Black Forest.
I wonder into the Black Forest...
What do I see?
Is this a tree I see before me?
Perhaps it once was,
Proud,
Magnificent,
But now Twisted,
Broken,
Bleeding,
Writhing.
Once great oaken branches have withered, sharpened, blackened.
Roots suck the life from tainted ground.
And a great, glowing, burning eye.
watching the forest.
Watching for what?
It turns.
Writhing trunk glistening in the early morning mist.
Leafless branches tumbling
And a hapless gafna feels its life end
in its jaws.
I stay back, but it notices me.
It roars
Lunges.
But the roots keep it secured to its blasted clearing.
Even so, it lunges for me,
and I feel my heart race.
I wonder, in retrospect,
why it was so attatched
to its one apple,
hanging forlornly from its side.
Perhaps it had feelings
for its unholy fruit.
Did I pose a threat to this monstrosity?
And it turns, a bird had startled it.
It had forgotten me,
then a tentacle lashes out at a passing smokehawk
I am rooted to my spot, just as the tree is.
With fear.
It can smell it pouring off me.
Then the beast turns,
arches over,
and releases a torrent of bile from its deformed throat
Onto the leaf-strewn floor.
It screams in rage, pain, and I move away.
But is this pity I feel? For such an evil, monstrous creature?
Yes.
And then all of a sudden a figure strides out in front of it, and strikes.

Ashblight was originally a Giant BF pathogen for Thius to fight, but I changed him to a tree halfway through after a few comments from my brother...
Now I look at him, I could make a V2 ten times more tree-ish than this...
Nice, but I think it has a bit of too much red/orange/wathever pieces... And, if you didn't say, I'd never realize that's a tree... But it's not so bad, I just think it needs more work in the aesthetic part...
