This ship is the next size up from my Galaxy Commander. But I used the Explorer as a common reference point. It's sort of patterned after the NASA Space Shuttle but with a Classic Space theme.

About this creation

I tried to be consistent with 1979. I'm still learning how to upload photos. They are all out of my preferred order.

Another close up

Cargo bay with arm extended. It pulls in satellites. The arm is guided by the operator using a camera (binocular piece) mounted on the arm itself.

Cockpit

Laser cannons. There's two here to indicate that it is twice as powerful as my Twin Cannon Heavy Assault Fighter. The Carrier can take on the big bad guys if it needs to.

Thanks for your comments. I always wondered if the rockets on the classic stuff was supposed to be rockets or missiles. I guess Lego meant for them to be booster rockets...
