A minister sweeps the steps of his church early one morning.
About this creation
I designed this simple church as part of a larger LEGO city project that our club was creating. The church is a facade only, although I would like to do an interior for it at some point. For this reason, the roof is hinged and can be opened up to provide a full view of the interior.
The minister seems to be a hardworking fellow. I specifically chose less pristine bricks from my collection to give the church a bit of a weathered look.
This picture shows the detail of the steeple. There is a (non-working) bell inside.
Beautiful small town church feeling. I like the hinged roof, look forward to seeing you open it up when you get the interior done.
Putting the door in an alcove adds a nice touch, and the weathered bricks really add character and a sense of history.
