Second part of my Cloud City MOC.
About this creation
First part is here http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/135890
I've added the start of the corridor, what I call the "stairway and window" part. I've also tidied up the original "crossroads" part, adding doors and walls to stop you seeing my desk :)) Each part is on a 48x48 baseplate.
The stairway, a nightmare to build! Custom fleshie Lobot - original body, head decal from www.fineclonier.com
Long shot down the corridor. Apart from the 1 powerfunctions light that lights the sculpture, all lighting is external.
Lobot in contemplative mood.
"That sounds like an R2 unit...!"
"No Luke, it's a trap!"
A busy day in cloud city.
CW clone heads make great ugnaughts! :)) :P
An overview showing the removable roof and walls.

Congrats! On Eurobricks there is a contest to win a chrome Vader. You have to go through the Star Wars MOCs and choose the 5 best. Out of all the ones I have seen, they all have something of yours in them! |

Where do you manage to get all of these rare and awesome pieces? They are amazing and I think your Cloud City is remarkable!
I've only been back in the hobby since last christmas, so everything you see is either from recent sets, bricklink, or (like lobot and lando) custom built using fineclonier decals. The chrome C3PO I found very cheap on ebay, I think I was lucky, and the seller didn't really know what a bargain he was selling :) |

marvelous!!!!! love your work!!! BTW... u know that rocket fountain thing in the middle you got that from lego star wars didnt you? (pretty smart) keep up the good work
Actually I didn't get anything from Lego Star Wars, I worked straight from screencaps from the DVD, although you aren't the first to say it looks like the game. It's only to be expected, the designers of the game would've worked from the film too! I'm flattered people think that it looks similar, it's a cool game :) |
