About this creation
This is my first 'large' fortress. After seeing pics of Chateau Chillon, I wanted to do a MOC with lots of 'roof'. Nothing fancy or impressive, it was just fun to do. Also, with this MOC I really wanted to push size and stretch my collection.
I may do a version two sometime, as the building techniques I tend to use and grew up with are 'old school' and there are many things I would improve or fancy up with some of the new styles I am so impressed with. Enjoy and comments are always welcome.
As a note, the technic axle between the birds...i have a crank that connects so I can raise or lower the draw bridge.

Very, very well done. Great fortress layout, great landscape detail, and billiant intricate fortress dwellers. Probably one of the best castles Ive see. Idon't know why this isn't on the first page of the most popular! |

Yeah... the big tree is fabulous. Once I tried to build a big tree, but didn't get far. Emm... about the lack of comments... well.. this build is SO GOOD, that words are odd :) |
