A scene from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed where Starkiller cuts an AT-ST in half and pushes it to the ground.
About this creation
This is one of the coolest moves that can be done in The Force Unleashed. Building an AT-ST that can be cut in half is very hard. The AT-ST is very unstable (just like the real thing!) so those white Technic axles were added to the scene to support the walker. For pictures of interior details like the engine, I used the Star Wars Incredible Cross-Sections book.
- Top view of the scene:
- Back view:
- Some details only seen when the AT-ST is cut in half:
- Now for the AT-ST (the black Technic axle is for support because this model is very unstable)
- Front view. It isn't clear in this picture, but the Stormtroopers can be seen through those windows. The AT-ST's head can fit two troopers side-by-side, which is something LEGO failed to do in their official sets. The front and side guns rotate.
- Back view. The head does not rotate.
- Top view:
- The hatch can open. When the walker is split in half, the hatch has to be removed. It's one of few parts that holds the entire walker together.
- Cut-out section of the walker's head, showing that the Stormtrooper fits perfectly inside:
- The leg:

Awsume! Such a great idea. Here is a little seceret.....I'm building a minifig scale consular-class (Charger c70 retrofit) that will split down the middle. So you can see inside to crew compartments, engines etc. I only have the lowerdeck half finished so I'm guessing around 9 months. This is the only time I will mention it and there will be no WIP's sorry! |

Thats so cool!!!!
Its sad that it cant stand up on its own...
But that is the coolest thing ever..And I agree that the offical lego AT-ST should be able to hold 2 minifiguers...
Great Job!!! |
