So, my next MOC was supposed to be my new comic, BUT the Exoforce sets I ordered from Bricklink came the day after I started. Of course, I had no choice but to build a mecha using these new parts. This is (obviously) very influenced by anime like Gundam and by a builder named Mithryl Dlarix! He's an awesome builder who gets hardly any comments! Please check out his stuff and comment. You won't be disappointed! As the war between the N.E.O.S. and Dark Augusto became more intense, the humans began to realize the importance of a manned mech. The result is the NM 002 "Dragonfire". A serious upgrade from the NM 001 "Rogue Unit" in size, armor, and armament! The Dragonfire is armed with a double-barrelled pulse cannon and a super-charged vibro-blade. Like the Rogue Unit, Dragonfire is also equipped with expanding air sails for increased mobility during combat.

Hey, Mood! I just wanted to let you know that the NEOS is back up and running again, and I strongly encourage you to try to do the same with DA. Also, if you are interested, there is a tournament being held in the NEOS group, and we need one more person to have a full bracket.

I'll give him a C. I think you are mostly struggling with proportions. Fix that and some detail.

Quoting Awesomeness 124 Hey Moodswim! Thanks for the comment on my first mech. I really like this one, it has a great color scheme. I just wanted to tell you that some of your mechs have inspired me to make a better one than my first. It came out pretty darn good, compared to my first one. I hope to post it soon, but I have some stuff in the next two days. I just want to say thanks, and i can't wait to see more from you!
Thanks, dude!

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix I definitely second Eric. You're definitely developing a style to call your own. Thats key! Then other people have to start giving you credit when they steal your ideas. wah hahahahahahaha!!

Cool work man!!! I really like it's rare colour choice---simply works!

Hey, Those parts on the head give the Dragonfly a classic Mazinger type look. The pose ability gets points. You get some really cool characters with the types of parts you use at this scale! Over the course of your work, the style starts to stand out. Keep building! I like seeing what you make.

lol I couldn't tell the difference, sorry :) Anyway, why don't you try a 4-leg, or even better, a 4 arms? I'm designing one right now...

Hm. Not a bad idea, although I'd have to cheat with Photoshop:)

Quoting jason corlett this is really cool. i love this style of mech but i can never build one good enough for mocpages. i guess i'll stick to walkers and leave the gundam style mechs to the pros. great work!
Dude, I'm no pro. I just started with mecha a few months ago. I tell you, Exoforce parts have totally improved everything as far as mecha builds! If you had the right pieces, you could build some awesome mecha!
  August 22, 2009
Oh. Well, BTW, I love the spikes, and how you can put it in so many positions! Like with the gun, that positions awesome.

Quoting § Maxim § (Yes, that 'Sushi Person') This is great! I love how it's shaped, but the only con I found was this: The torso. I find (in my opinion) the colors are too jumbled around, slightly too 'checkered'. But all in all, this is a kick-bu.tt MOC!!!!
Yeah, the colors were a struggle. I didn't want too few, because I wanted the NEOS "rank color" but I also didn't want too much:(

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix Ha ha! Thanks for the promotion there, Moody. I'm digging the overall shape of the mecha. The head is seriously cool as well! You've really got a talent for getting good shapes out of your bricks. The wing arrangement on the back is a slick piece of engineering, as are the hands. Over all its looking great. So, what do you think of the exo-force joints? They have their ups and downs, I know.
I LOVE the Exoforce joints! Dude, the parts I was using before were killing me! I literally had to worry about a limb falling off, if I posed the thing wrong! With these new joints, I could throw the thing down the steps, and the frame would stay in 1 piece! Love it!
