You didn't think I was going to leave the G-Type series alone, did you? Its back in its Fourth Generation incarnation and is loaded up with tons of long range support goodness.
About this creation
VRMS-GT-003 “G-Type mk III”
Following the disappearance of the S-Type mk III prototype, and the subsequent disappearance of the Professor, Void Resistance Mecha Systems was left with a gap in development. Its crop of M-Type mk Is and D-Type mk IIs were losing badly to the superior firepower and mobility of the enemy’s “Shadow” mecha.
To bridge the gap between the M-Type and the “Shadow” type’s firepower, VRMS took the S-Type mk III’s design and reworked it to be compatible with heavier armament. The result was the G-Type mk III. True to its predecessors, its armaments were focused on ranged combat, as opposed to the S-Type mk III.
Like the S-Type that it was based off of, the G-Type mk III used a fourth generation frame that provided it with extreme mobility and defence. It also utilized the same dispersive network reactor system that the S-Type Mk III had introduced. It also retained its cousin’s ability to execute a limited number of short dimensional jumps.
In appearance, the G-Type mk III was nearly identical to the S-Type mk III, with the exception of heavier arm units, designed to accommodate heavy weapons. Ultimately, however, the unit’s weapons options are what truly set it apart from its cousin.
Like the S-Type mk III, the G-Type mk III’s armament in its first configuration was composed of sixteen internally stored high-yield micro missiles mounted in the leg units. In addition to this, it had power generators mounted on both hand units, capable of delivering high amounts of energy during the event of a punch, giving the mk III considerable hand to hand capability.
Both the S-Type and G-Type mk III’s weapons options consisted of a two-tiered system, and it is this system that make the units so effective and fearsome in combat. In situations where mobility was required, the G-Type mk III could utilize its level one configuration. In assault or siege situations, the mk III could utilize its fearsome level two configuration.
The mk III’s level two configuration consisted of two racks of four medium range, high yield missiles mounted on the leg units. Two banks of three homing laser cannons were mounted on the shoulder units. The mk III could additionally equip two racks of four medium range missiles on the hips if required.
The mk III’s level three configuration consisted of all level one armament with the addition of two rapid-fire capable superlaser cannons mounted on pivots on the rear of the unit. In addition two racks of 3 high-yield, long range missiles were mounted on the leg units. As well, the mk III could equip two racks of four mid range missiles mounted under the forearm units if required.
Nearly 5,000 G-Type Mk IIIs have been produced so far, and have proven so effective on the battlefield that another 5,000 are slated for production.

Configuration 1: Front view. Like the S-Type mk III, the G-Type mk III can also change its payload to suit the tactical situation. In its basic form, the G-Type mk III has roughly the same amount of armament as the S-Type mk III. It carries 16 internally stored micromissiles and two twin linked CIWS on the forearms. , and two short beam sabres mounted on the forearms. In addition, the G-Type also has enhanced hand units with powered plates mounted over them that deliver devastating punches on impact.

Configuration 3: Front view. The mk III's awesome third configuration turns it into a heavilty armed assault mecha. In this form it has roughly three times the firepower of the G-Type mk II and is a veritable hydra of long, mid and short range artillery.
Configuration 3: Side view. Configuration 3's primary weapons consist of a pair of battleship strength cannons mounted on the rear of the unit. The cannons are attached to pivots that allow them to rotate into the ready position under the arms or back again as needed. This allows the mk III to keep its hands free if needed.
