VRMS-BT-004 "B-Type mk IV"
This one wasn't planned. I wanted a kind of stealth mech. Then I also wanted to try out making a sublight lifter like on the Infinite Justice Gundam. So I combined the two ideas.
About this creation
VRMS-BT-004 “B-Type mk IV”

Following the disappearance of the Professor from VRRD, VRMS continued its mecha development project. When the word came down from high command for a mecha as powerful as the G-Type mk III, but with stealth capabilities, the VRMS looked backward to a long neglected design: the BT series.

In terms of its structure, the B-Type mk IV is identical to the G-Type mk III. The chief differences between the G-Type mk III and the B-Type mk IV are found in its stealth equipped dispersed network reactor and its stealth plating on its exterior. Beyond this, the B-Type is similar in capability to its cousin, and is almost more of an outgrowth of the G-Type than a separate unit.

The B-Type mk IV carried unique equipment, though it was backwards compatible with all G-Type mk III weapons options as well. Its most notable piece of equipment was its backpack unit. The backpack unit was detachable and could function on its own as a remotely controlled weapon. When attached, it greatly increased the mk IV’s mobility, defence and firepower. The mk IV could also stand on top of the unit, using it as a mobile combat platform. The unit itself carried two wing mounted beam sabres, and four heavy cannons, as well as a nose mounted beam dagger. Finally, for melee combatit carried two beam sabres for use by the mk IV. For melee combat, the mk IV was equipped with a powered scythe. For ranged combat, the unit carried optional shoulder mounted nuclear guns, and for mid range combat had specialized beam weapons that fired invisible shots.

Nearly 2,000 B-Type mk IVs have been produced with another 1,500 slated for future production. 5 of the units have been designated part of the task force involved in spying on and eliminating IDRD.

This is the kind of MOC I was hoping to add to this group, a stealth mech for black-ops! I think several of your Void mechs would also fit in well here. I'm glad you accepted my invitation to join.
