VRMS-XT-006A "X-Type mk VIA 'Full Spec'"
This isn't really a separate mecha, but there are a lot of pics of this guy, so I wanted to make a second page for it. This is the final entry in VRMS. It was heavily inspired by the 00 Raiser from Gundam 00. I hope that you've enjoyed my stuff. I really appreciate all the enthusiasm and positivity that people have been showing around here. You guys are the best!
About this creation
Configuration 2: Front view. In its first upgrade, the mk VI receives additional ranged armament in the form of 50 micromissile launchers attached to the lower legs and forearms. It also receives two shoulder mounted positron collectors/boosters that give the unit additional mobility and agility.

Configuration 2: Full burst

Configuration 2: Full burst

Configuration 2: Death from above!

Configuration 3: Front view. In its third configuration, the mk VI gains use of a heavy rifle that draws directly from the unit's positron collectors. The rifle has several modes and makes the unit a force to be reckoned with at long range.

Configuration 3: Front view

Configuration 3: Front view

Configuration 3: Front view. The positron collectors/boosters mounted on the shoulders can be positioned anywhere around the body, providing additional defense and agility. Here they are positioned as shields at the front of the unit.

Configuration 3: Side view

Configuration 3: Rear view. Positron collectors/boosters in side position.

Configuration 3: Rear view. Positron collectors/boosters in rear position.

Configuration 3: Rear view. Positron collectors/boosters in raised position

Configuration 3: Holding rifle. The rifle has two configurations, a dual barrelled snipe weapon when it is closed, and a battleship main cannon-class weapon when it is open.

Configuration 3: Front view. Firing primary armament one handed

Configuration 3: Side view. Firing primary armament one handed

Configuration 3: Front view. Kneeling and firing primary armament. The positron rifle on the mk VI has an additional handle to provide stability when being used in the "open" position.

Configuration 3: Side view. Kneeling and firing primary armament. Even with all the extra equipment, the X-Type mk VI's frame still allows for a high level of flexibility.

Configuration 3: Bottom view. Kneeling and firing primary armament.

Configuration 3: Sniping. Front view. I remember seeing the Gundam Dynames from Gundam 00 do this and it looked so cool, so I had to make one.

Configuration 3: Sniping. Side view

Quoting Eric Sophie Hey, I stopped in to see what you have been building. Glad to see this Mech, good pictures and good poseability too. Keep building, I like seeing what you make. Peace!
Thanks man! Its always a pleasure! I won't have any new builds until I get my lego out of storage. But when I do I have a new frame type in mind, a couple of original mecha designs, and a trio of gundams: The gundam heavyarms custom from Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, the Strike Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed Destiny, and the 00Q[T] Gundam Full Saber from the upcoming Gundam 00 Movie. But don't expect any of them soon, unfortunately. But they WILL be built.

Quoting andros tempest I have to concur on the page view point, I used to be frustrated that I only get maybe 2 or 3 comments on some of my MOCs. But it takes time to get established. I don't post a lot of Lego on my flickr pages, my brickshelf account has been there for nearly 3 years but it's under a different name and my lego.com galleries just seem to attract leaches looking to pass off my best stuff as their own. But I've come to realise that non of that is important. I enjoy building what I build and if other people comment it's great. But I'm not going to get myself depressed just because, what I consider is my best work, only has 1 view. Give it a month or a year and it will hit double or treble figures and if it doesn't - so what? As with anything on the net it's about keeping the correct perspective.
Thats the spirit! I completely agree. This site really puts my own sense of what is attractive into perspective, because the things that I've built that I like the most seem to get the least attention. Its the ones that I was not particularly fond of that get noticed. Its hard to get across good craftsmanship versus appearance in a picture.

Quoting Mike Johnson Mithryl, I still think your mechs are among the best on MOCpages. They are well built and have a high attention to detail. You told me once that recognition will come in due time around here although I admit it can be a real pain when it feels like it keeps going to someone else. Maybe its time to try something new and see what happens. By the way I did notice you left our group. I figure you have your reasons but I want you to know that you are welcome back anytime you want.
When I first came to MOCpages, I was really frustrated with the way that well established builders could have posted up a picture of a brick and it would have gotten a million views. I even made a group that was geared towards exposing this blatant elitism that was cropping up on the pages (now defunct). But you know what I learned from all that? That it doesn't matter how many views you get or who has what to say about your MOCs. If you are happy with them, then it is enough. If building lego is fun for you, then it is enough. Its nice to receive feedback and suggestions sometimes, but its easy to forget that this is a community, not a popularity contest. Thanks for all your support about my MOCs, and yes I still firmly believe that if recognition is what you seek, then you will definitely get it in time. Just keep putting your name out there, getting involved, being supportive and positive and improving your building skills with every MOC. You will reach your goal. A perfect example of this is MOODSWIM. He came here not long ago, well after me, but he is really well known, because he participates and leaves comments everywhere and is a really nice guy. Do I think that his MOCs are so spectacular that they deserve all the recognition he gets? No. But his personality certainly does. As for the group thing, it was nothing personal. I left about 20 groups that day because they were either inactive or they had nothing directly to do with mecha (bionicle I personally count as something else, and I don't have any bionicle MOCs).

Quoting Sirlyck Redd very nice! I can really see the the Gundam OO in it. I like the wepon too;)
I'm surprised that this one does not get more attention. It is the culmination of all my mecha skills! I admit that it is not as flashy as the Freedom Gundam, but it is much better built.

I'm glad to see that you're still here as well. My page was deleted last year too. In my case a malware virus infected my machine and ruined everything. The only pictures that survived were the ones still on my camera. In other words, I'm pretty much starting over from square one. That's life! Anyway your works still look as good as I remeber.

Quoting John the Imaginative Just saw the final episode of 00 Gundam, epic fight was epic. The playing of Daybreak's Bell (the last song played) was just perfect. For it is the beginning of a new world.
There's a sequel theatrical movie coming out :)

Quoting John the Imaginative When Bushido revealed that his Flag was capable of Trans-Am, did you noticed that he started bleeding from the mouth? Why was that?
His unit may have been capable of Trans-AM, but it wasn't meant for it. What that means is that there were no safety systems in place to keep the pilot from harm, unlike on the Gundams. So the effects of his hard maneuvers took a heavy toll on his body, causing internal bleeding.

Quoting John the Imaginative One question I have is why does Louise feel constant pain? I missed the episode where that's explained.
She was infected with red GN particles, so she needed medication to control the side effects.

Quoting John the Imaginative What I thought was really cool was Exia's exposed eye during the first episode of Season 2.
They have a model with that and everything. I had pretty high hopes for Season 2 and I wasn't disappointed.

Quoting John the Imaginative I see the OO Raizer in this. OO Raizer best feature: Ultra-massive beam saber.
That was my favorite feature too. That and the green rings it would leave behind it. The cover pic for this was really supposed to bring that first view of the 00 at the end of the first season to mind.
