G.A.I.A Two Seat Fighter - 'Samhain Fire'
Mass production of the 'Samhain Fire' was G.A.I.A's last roll of the dice as the 'Alien War' reached its destruvtive Zenith. Though its two seat configuration met with scepticism in the fighters infancy, battle field reality saw its inclusion become touted as a master stroke. By the end of the war, pilots proved to be more finite than the craft they flew. As the war raged on, human fighter pilots were able to rescue ejected pilots from atmosphere or vacuum due to the fact that they had a spare seat. This coupled with the fact that Samhain Fire was the fastest sub light vehicle ever constructed, helped forge the heavily armed fighters place in human history.
About this creation

The original Samhain Fire...

When princess Katherine was abducted for leverage against humanity by the evil Draggone, Emporer Phillip III took it upon himself to commandeer several hundred fighters in his command and fly his eldest daughter's rescue mission himself. He is pictured here upon his succesful return with humanity's most loved royal.

this last pic was taken by El Barto...

Long live GAIA!!!

INSTRUCTIONS

Build your own Samhain Fire!

(Note the 4x4 white 'hoods' on top of the black wings should sit one stud forward of where they are but LDD would not allow it for some reason... Cheers all :))

Good looking craft, I like the forward sweep of the wings, something I keep meaning to try. You nailed it with this one!

Quoting El Barto ! Dude! Pretty intense fighter here! And it looks even better sitting on my dining room table! It just arrived today, and I've got all the pieces situated. Tanya's hair was a little mussed, but she's going to the officers' head to take a shower...Thanks, Chief!

I noticed that I had not commented on this one, and I wanted to say that your fighters are very awesome. Also, I wanted to add that I'm working on an ESC/G.A.I.A. hybrid fighter as we speak. I hope to have pics of the LDD model soon. ^Blub^

Better late than never! Awesome, simply awesome. That BSG Viper look combined with your striking colour scheme makes an excellent fighter. Your minifig scale MOCs are at least as good as your minis and micros. Love it!

Very, very nice. I sent an image back to the Rim Worlds, and I'm told all the fighter pilots went wild. I've got a hunch we may see some design efforts coming down the road that are intended to show what THEY can build. Maybe this means the end of the "chunky era" of Rim Worlder spacecraft!

Quoting John Moffatt Well, you know what they say. A cool ship is one thing, but a ship with a hot chick, well that's just sumthin' else.
Hehe, I couldn't agree more...

The nose does the job, but then you had to build on to it! Quite a curious fighter you have here. I'll have to remember that nose.

Quoting J0N0TR0N1C SYSTEMS Another very cool-looking fighter. This might be my favorite of your so far. An extra seat is always a good thing, especially when it doesn't interfere with the aesthetics of the craft. When I can get her to look at them, my wife criticizes many of my MOCs for not having room for her. I won't show her this one ;)
Hehe, classic. Yeah, I always liked the idea of romance by starfighter, thus this design and the specific male/female mini-fig compliment. Well just show the missus a picture and say you built it.. Lol

Quoting Crimso Giger Cool story and figs (arf I want one of these Leia torso lol) - And the fighter... No long speech about it, because only one word applied to this shape: AWESOME !!! Keep on the amazing work !
Thanks mate, I'm wrapped you saw this one like that, because I was really excited with the shape myself. I was worried no one would rate this one and that I'd just not know what to do next! LOL...

Quoting John Beck I like how the cockpit narrows and then widens out to the nose...good job here. Very sleek.
Yeh, that was actually the main concept from the start. I had that idea in my head, and worked on it for quite a while before getting it to work, and then the rest of the fighter just sprang from there. Cheers John.
