Boxing the BIA
I reworked the Blacktron Intelligence Agency this summer and took some pictures of how it is boxed for transportation. I'll post some pictures of the new 2009 BIA when I set it all up at a local show mid September.

Very interesting, even the boxing is awesome ! I've noticed some cool things that I'm not sure to have seen before in the dio, especially this so cool 6928 recolored. Wish I could see the BIA in real life... Once again great work !

September 12, Darlington, Indiana Old Fashion Days Festival ... at the Armory if you're looking for a way to kill some time. They'll be plenty of room for the Invisable Hand and The Rusty Ferret :)

Brian, having seen your box system firsthand made me a believer. If and when I build that "big MOC" I'll call on you for advice.

Quoting Chris Phipson Oh, and about having to meet Dennis this weekend... I'm sorry.
Chris, I enjoyed hanging out with Dennis, but the strange thing was ... he readily admitted to knowing you, too. The LEGO world has been turned on its ear.

HAHAHA nice. See ya in June! (but don't be a stranger round here in the mean time). Oh, and about having to meet Dennis this weekend... I'm sorry. We try not to let him out without a pass but sometimes he slips by security. We'll try to do better next time. ~ Chris.

Quoting Chris Phipson ... (remind me to come back here sometime next May for pointers on how to pack my stuff) Thanks for sharing! ~ Chris.
I've developed a serious addiction to triple ply cardboard. I sometimes worry that I only create MOCs as an excuse to build more boxes.

See, this is why I don't build huge cool stuff, I don't want to transport it... Yeah, that's my story and I'm stickin to it. (remind me to come back here sometime next May for pointers on how to pack my stuff) Thanks for sharing! ~ Chris.

That looks like some serious box work. I've never transported my MOCs before (other than changing floors in my house to photograph them), but I can only imagine the hassle and precariousness you're getting yourself into.
