Okay here it is: my first-ever Lego Star Wars comic! I wanted to do something different than the usual (don't I always?) I wanted to use action-figure size characters instead of the standard minifigs. I also wanted to use Photoshop for "special effects". This took me 2 weeks to create, so I hope it paid off. About this creation
It's been 2 years since Order 66. Since Palpatine attempted to rid the galaxy of the Jedi and to expand his new empire to every corner of it. But a few Jedi slipped through the Emperor's fingers to disappear into the darkness. That is, until today. The Empire needed someone to finish the job they started. So they hired me, Moog Shim, to do just that.
Lord Vader made a special request that I hunt down and destroy one Jedi in particular: his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi
And that trail has led me here, to the barren ice planet of Hoth.
The perfect place to find a certain exile Jedi Knight by the name of Bek Hoganoo.
Moog: "Surprise, Jedi! Vacation's over!"
Bek: "Ugh! What?! Who are you and what do you want?!"
Moog: "What I want is to wipe the galaxy clean of Jedi scum like you! But first, I need answers! Obi-Wan Kenobi! Where is he?!
Bek: "Uh, I don't know what you're talking about! I don't know where he is!"
Moog: "Come on, boy! You and I both know that's a lie! I know you were one of the last Jedi to see him before he went into exile!"
Just then, Hoganoo uses the Force to summon his lost lightsaber...
...and ignite it, destroying Shim's weapon.
Bek: "I'll tell you nothing!"
Moog: "That's one thing I could never stand about you Jedi: so hard-headed. Alright, young one, if it's a real fight you want..."
"...it's a real fight you'll get!"
Bek: "Ugh!"
Moog: "Where's your fire now, Jedi? You'll tell me what I want to know one way or the other!"
Bek: "H-how do you know how to fight with a lightsaber?!"
Moog slices off Bek's hand!
Bek: "AAARRRGGGHHH!!!"
Moog: "Because, Hoganoo, I was once a Jedi JUST LIKE YOU!!!"

it is quite out of the ordinary to see an action figure scale comic! the only thing I did not like is you revealed to much in the first comic like how moog shim said he was a jedi , but besides that very good overall!

This is one of the best comics/series on mocpages because it has just the right mix of mistery and action. The mechs are perfect you captured the other jedi perfectly, the photoshop effects blend in perfectly. But you may want to improve the lightsabers at that scale I think you could pull off a detailed yet purist lightsaber, other than that small detail it is perfect. |

Sorry I haven't commented it earlier, but as university starts I have less time you know:( Probably this is your best creation so far, I like the special effects that you made with the help of photoshop, it makes your story really different, really cool and incredible...so keep up this awesome way of building Mood! The cool thing about Photoshop is that the set can be any size because you can stretch it, which I did. There will be some vehicles in the next part. |

Hahaha! Teeny-tiny light sabers! I know you're not one to copy things, but you might want to look at the lightsabers held by the Grievous lego model (10186) or better, using technic axles or a bar 4L and stacking some bits on it. |
