About this creation
Category: Space Pirates.
My opponent: Bruno Vaiano
I call this Ambush on Asteroid A-13, or triple-A. The space pirates are using a small ship with a tractor beam to steal a crate containing a top secret weapon while their ground forces crate a diversion.
State of the art hover vehicles equipped with standard laser cannons. (Could you believe I only have 7 of those dark bley disks?)
There's one in every bunch, always last out when the battles raging, always the first up when payday comes around.

It just wasn't this guys day...
The Robotic Space Pirate Ninja. They said as long as pirate goes first in his name he could stay.
This pirate is flying a stolen 67-K rocket pack, he claims it's because he likes "being high".
As civilians pyromaniacs are considered a menace, but slap a uniform on'em and give'em a rocket launcher and they become "Qualified professionals".
I actually managed suspension with this one, and I'm proud to say it's a royal pain.
I'm like the shape I achieved with this.
Photographing black is not fun.

And I forgot to mention before but that little mech is actually a hardsuite, here with the head removed you can see the pilot.
Well that's it! I originally planned to have the pirates raiding a small asteroid settlement but meh, piece constraints.

Very nice! I'm a mod for a space pirate group on Flickr, come and check it out (I'd love to provide you with a link, but i'm posting from work and cannot access it!). I love the Classic space colours and the variety of creative craft being used by the pirates. Good luck.

I love this so much! The starcraft is pretty cool. That truck is awesome. The robot is sweet. (I thought of those crystals before too) The moon dunes are Well done. The tractor beam idea was pretty smart. (to hold the ship up) Nice guns. The crate is very smooth. Best Space MOC I've ever seen! |
