Casey Jones Jr.
About this creation

Well now Casey Jr. is now finished and now has more accurate dark blue boiler and pilot. I tried to eliminate most of the blockyness seen in the first version and create more SNOT especially when with the boiler using the two inverting slope bricks. So there are literally NO studs on top. I left the side rods off on purpose mostly because I couldn't fit them in as they were too close to the cylinders. This takes away the accuracy seen in the movie "DUMBO" and on my figurine it doesn't bother me much but I know some of you will cringe.

I added the coach and caboose to give Casey a train to pull and are modeled from the movie. I'm planning on making more just as soon as I get more small wheels.

Of course Disney would allow a Lego casey jr! Lego is one of the most famous toy companies in the world and Disney is famous worldwide!

Hi, My son is Autistic and love Casey trains, especially Lego's made trains. He see them on Google and want us to buy them (of course, it's not possible but he cannot understand it). So we are ready to build one for him but we need to know what kind of Lego bricks we need for it. If you can help us, you are more than welcome. Alain Monfort France

Quoting mark clark You should check out the lego page Cuusoo, it allows builder like you to have their creations built and then packaged. The new back to the future car was one of these that was done. I know i would buy this.
I wasn't too impressed with the Back to the Future set, but I have heard of Cuusoo. Unfortunately I don't think there would be enough support to get 10,000 signatures required to make a set. Plus I don't know whether Disney would allow such a thing.

Quoting Trevor Young Speaking of instructions, you should really think to document your builds in the future. Im sure many people would want their own versions of your models. They all are by far worthy of instructions after all.
I've been thinking about that more and more recently. Part of the reason I didn't before is the time and effort it takes. But now that I use LDD to make my MOCs before I physically build them I might do that now.

Quoting owen steel o: wow!!!!! that is great!! how do you make these things without instructions? it's just...just...just...AMAZING!!
Thanks, Owen. It takes lots of practice determining what parts to use and getting the looks to match the real thing. The more you build with LEGO the better you get at making really detailed models. Even this MOC feels outdated to me and I might make a follow up model.

Quoting Sherry ishmael My Son loves the Casey Jr. Train. Is there any way to get instructions on how to make this model?
I'm sorry for the late response. Unfortunately I don't have any instructions simply because I never thought to take note of it while I was building the model.

Quoting Lou Jones Can't get Casey Jones anywhere - been trying desperately for my Son for christmas. He would LOVE this! Your model is wicked!!!! Is it a special set? Any help/instruction would be greatfully received!
Thank you Lou, I recieved my figurine years ago from my parents as a gift and the Walt Disney Classics Collection stopped making them in '04. You can however go to ebay to find him but he is a rare peice now so it'll be hard to find(original price was $75). I have a link for one on ebay (there's two on there right now) http://cgi.ebay.com/WDCC-DUMBO-CASEY-JR-ALL-ABOARD-LETS-GO-/180590909100?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a0c0e96ac I'm afraid I don't make or have any instructions for any of my MOC's. Sorry :(
