About this creation

Space Pirates
The Floating Dutchman Arriving at the Pirate Cave - Mars Module

Mattīs Page

After the Earth destruction in 2079, The Space Pirates created various secret outposts in the Solar Sistem. Among then, the Mars Module is the smaller. But the Pirate Flying Ships that arrive there are not small, the The Floating Dutchman is the biggest.

About The MOC:

Well, this is actually more of a playset, so I decided that the ship shouldnīt be over a base, to increase playability and save my small red collection. The sliding doors are my favorite.
I arrived in round two, And Iīm preety much informed that Iīll be SMASHED by Matt. Or maybe not... It is a rather big MOC so the background is really bad, because I couldnīt find a big enough Posterboard.

Yes, yes, very nice. :-) I am glad to see my opponent from round one is still showing how it's done. As for my building with Legos, that will be shortly stopped until my sprained wrist is ready to hold a brick!

Excellent ! Great idea to make a base, and I love the design of it and of the ship, which is really "Space Pirate", but maybe a little more "modern" than as usual in this theme (which for me is a good point). Very cool !

Close call, but between the "pirate" type ship and the playability factor, you got my vote! ~ Chris.

That base is sweet, the yellow 2 really makes it! The ship is great too, the side cannons and the engines are nicely done. This one'll be tough for the judges! I had to get a new background for my entry too, how interesting.....Well good luck!

That base looks awesome! I also like the way you shaped the ship, you need to whiten your bricks though ;). I'd love to see more pictures. ~M
