The turret on the warthog is as accurate as I could make it. I don't think there is a way to make it more accurate, just a little smoother on the connections.

Well this is the third warthog that I have made, and although it doesn't have actual steering like my first one, I believe that this is the most accurate design that can be made, both Lego-man sized and finely detailed.
The turret barrels are a bit short.

what interests me most is the suspension of the hog, the turret looks pretty accurate, however the real challenge is to make an accurate one the purist way (no cutting, gluing or modifying pieces) I think

Quoting Sebeus I the warthog looks good but my opinion about the turret is "plastic butchery" (as I read on your group) I never cut or modify pieces, I have one exception though, my cat chewed on a sword so I gave it another shape, but besides that I'm totally purist (so thanks for the invite (2nd time btw) but no thanks)

Well thanks for your comments. I understand about the "plastic butchery" thing. Just to let you know, I am a very clean butcher, no Lego blood anywhere. :) Take a look around my page please, even though you don't like butchery.
