I'm working hard on my comic, but, in the meantime, I thought I'd post a little vig. There've been alot of Hoth vigs popping up lately, so I thought I'd try my hand at one. I wanted to build a tiny scene in my new favorite size: micro. This was very inspired by the mini mocs of Rogue Bantha on Brickshelf. This was also inspired by the awesome Hoth mocs of Robo Man and Jason Corlett. Thanks, guys! Please rate and comment:) NOTE: Thanks to some of your suggestions, I've made some improvements. I made the speeders smaller, I changed the sides of the turrets, I raised the generator higher, and I added snow drifts. Thanks for the help, guys!

Quoting Tim C Very well done. Love Star Wars and this is a fine representation of the Battle of Hoth, no matter the size. I had never commented on this one and actually quite surprised I had never seen it considering that I'm a fan of your work. It's also very deserving of the big 100. Great work.
Thank you, kind sir for your nice comments!

I'm sure I had commented on this before ,but I didn't find my comment here,so then again I decided to comment!Very nice work,Ive always loved your micros!I love all the rechniques you use too.Only one thing,a small suggestion from me would be , if possible,to improve the AT-AT's legs a bit, cause I look at them and I keep thinking the "hand" like pieces attached to the slender, no stud plank pieces might not hold the legs well, other than that, your creation is magnificent, flawless, and not to mention inspiring!Yeh,that's right,I saw how cool this is,and yet ,along with George G's micro battle of Hoth, inspired me to build my own micro battle of Hoth.I will post it soon,I hope you like it and it took me like 17 hours to finish it!Again, excellent work my friend! -Hawk

Quoting C J I think that this is the one micro-scale moc i havent made. I have a bigger walker design that would go well with your snow speeder. Would you mind if i used your design? I would credit you for inspiration along with the design of the speeder.

Quoting Lawrence _ Awesome! I am still going to to something MINI! Great work! I like the turrets! They have a fantastic design! By the way, I am thinking in Blade Runner vignettes, maybe the first scene: "I will tell you about my mother!" What do you think?
I think that sounds awesome! It'd be cool if you could use photoshop or something to make the room look smokey like in the film:)

Great job man! I just love the scale! And the fact that it's REAL SNOT! The Echo Base is sweet too! Though the Snow Speeders do look a bit big, in comparison to the AT-AT, and they look a little "Fat" for my taste. I have a few suggestions for the Turrets, maybe replace the cheese slopes on the side to a 1x1 flat, i think it would give it a better look in my opinion. But still, i gotta give this a 5/5! Great work! ; ) ~Commander Hess

Great!! The shield generator is perfect, but the turrets are a little big I think. The only room for improvement are maybe make the snowspeeders more acurate (Although that must be pretty hard since they have to be so small), and the snow has to be in drifts. Other than that, this is awesome, and maybe you could expand it to also hold Echo Base!

Pretty cool. That's a perfectly-designed At-At, and the turrets look great. The shield generators are a bit out of proportion, they're shorter than the turrets. Other than that, it looks flawless!

Quoting Commander Flare . Sweet!!!!! I love everything about it, the ATAT, the snowspeeders, the turrets, and everything!!! This is definately a 100-star creation! LOL. There is only ONE thing I see that is not completly accurate (I know your mad at me but I'm gonna say) is that the rebel snowspeeders are way too large compared to the AT-AT. But I'm not sure how you could change that so I'm gonna rate it a..... 5/5!!! Like all your other stuff!!!! :) LOL
Thanks! Yeah, the speeders are too big, but I wanted them to be big enough to still have a bit of detail.

Quoting Thomas Lockwood Don't forget to credit George Lucas for making hoth in the first place. :D Altogether the vig is pretty good. The turrets, and the nifty use of round 2x2 bricks in the shield generator are the highlights of this vig. The at at is kinda blocky, and while the legs work, they look too spindly. I'm also afraid the snowspeeder doesn't look right. I suggest making the guns smaller, and capturing the shape of the nose more accurately. Again as a whole the vig is nice, I'm just trying to offer points of improvement.
Thanks for the helpful tips:)

OMG! That's perfect, man! The AT-AT is amazing, and so is the Echo Base! The turrets are VERY nice, too. The snowspeeders should be a tad longer, but they still look cool. It would be awesome if you had a rope piece attaching the AT-AT and the snowspeeder. I like the leg technique on the AT-AT and pretty much everything else about it. Lol. Honestly, I think this is your best creation yet, that's not a mecha.
