Vigilance Defense Systems now presents the Advanced Main Battle Tank. Although the ABT has proved to be an excellent machine, it just can't handle the load of an actual MBT. So, the AMBT was devised. The actual tank is quite a bit smaller than most modern day tanks, but it can still battle with the Big Boys. Featuring a 120mm cannon and .50 cal. coaxial MG, the AMBT is fully capable of destroying most traditional targets. Also, similar to the Israeli Merkava Mk. IV, the AMBT can carry several troops in the rear; namely three. The actual tank relies on two independent engines, which reduces some of the needed space. Although the AMBT is mostly traditional, it features some more unorthodox defenses. Replacing the copula-mounted AA gun, is a electronic array of jamming devices that disarms most missiles that enter any area within 10.7-12.2 meters diameter with the tank being the hearth. Also, the AMBT can traverse some water divisions that most tanks and armoured vehicles can't. This is allowed given the semi-boat hull in the front. Anyhow, the AMBT is crewed by three and can reach a maximum speed of 78.9 kph with full load-out.

Interesting look. A bit strange that the hull has the same rising slope toward the front as the fenders. Counter intuitive.

I'm very impressed that you managed to put suspension, a troop bay, AND a good appearance all into one vehicle! |

Very cool - reminds me of a Type-90 or old leopard. Looks best with the hatches open, tho. |

Definite win. I'd better get ahold of some treads quick. I'm being outgunned. I still have my A-10 though...speaking of which I need to post that. Troop compartment is a nice touch, and the greebles (you have a knack for greebles) are great. |

I saw phaze making fun of me on flickr. That just made my day. Im "BlueFire", more importantly im only 10 years old.
I had never heard the term before and I knew it didn't mean yes. I did that to get under his skin for obvious reasons.
As for the moc, 4/5. I sadly can't give you a rating lower than you have earned. And if you really want me to see your reply do it on my moc. |

Nice job on and original Tank. It has a design reminiscent of the tiger 1 tank and is very visually impressive. |

impressive MBT! well constructed and with realist tech data, except for one thing, the troop bay is occupying the usual engine space, where are the engines now?
In the front on either side of the driver's compartment. There's two hatches for them under the tank, but it would be too much of a pain to try and photograph them. |

Well, I gotta say that I'm glad that you're making an original tank other than one of those quad tread tanks. It just looks better, and deadlier! Anyway, nice work. The front really opened my eyes, and the sheer size of it is scary. I would highly suggest that you smooth out the flat surfaces to make it look more professional, and that you widen the troop bay by a stud or two. Also, there's that gap between the top and the side of the treads that needs to be filled. It would be a great spot to fill with greebling, and it would definitely look better in the outcome. Otherwise, I have to say that this is an excellent creation, and deserves 5 little smiley faces! Keep it up with the tanks, they're really looking better! |

This is excellent, Erik. I definitely like the turret and all of the little features, details, and greebles on it. The overall profile is very nice. It definitely has that European feel to it. |

Excellent, just like the 5 smilies say! Love the suspension. But my tank can still eat yours if it can get a firing solution.

Very cool! Congrats on your first actual "tank". I think this may be my favorite creation of your's. I like the shape of the turret and the back of the body. The side skirts seem a little far out, because it looks like there's a gap between them and the tank's top armor. You sure do like white barrels. Awesome job! |

Yay! Alterable profiles aren't in fact the newest trend in tank design- now I can build easier. Awesome build- reminds me of a Leopard II. |

I think this is you're first actual tank. That's pretty dang good. Good to see you've kept up building.
This is indeed my first "traditional" tank. And thank you for the compliment. |
