About this creation
Well folks, I'm back. I haven't updated in, well, a couple years. But here we go. This is the real version of my digital Enterprise D. As you can see, its much bigger than my other one. That allowed me to add more detail. I of course, started with the warp nacelles, as I always do. They came out great. The saucer section measures 7 5/8 x 8 7/8 inches. Overall length of the ship is 13 3/8 inches. I'd still like to put phaser strips on the saucer. I just don't have the dark gray pieces I need. I had to sacrifice a couple ships to make this guy, my other Enterprise D, a Nebula class ship, a Centaur class, and a Runabout. But I did have enough pieces left over to build some more new Star Trek items.

I think this looks great! Tough call on the whole 'is the saucer section too thin' thing. Adding two more layers, one above, one below, would be too much relative to the engineering section. Difficult ship at this scale. Excellent! |

Cool ship, very good work on the shape and the proportions. Love the old school building with studs up! ~Marc |

Pretty good! The scale is just right, but like some one already said, the saucer is a bit thin. |

Awsome! but you only get 4/5 because the causer section is a bit to thin, IMO |

I showed these to Albie, knowing he would appreciate the work. He says "Bad ass, when are you going to do Serenity" :) |
