About this creation
This is my CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) FAT ( Field Artillery Tractor)and my 25 pounder howitzer.
With thanks at the example of Daniel Zayac.
Some information about the CMP FAT.
The CMP FAT, together with its limber and 25 pdr gun/howitzer, was the cornerstone of the divisional Field Regiments, of which there was one per brigade. These regiments prided themselves on both speed and accuracy in support of their infantry formations.
Some information about the 25 pounder.
The Ordnance QF 25 pounder (or just 25-pounder or 25-pdr) was the major British field gun/howitzer that was introduced into service just before World War II and was the British Army's primary artillery system into the 1950s.
