A Lego version of Han's trusty steed, the taun taun.
About this creation
I saw some of the other Taun Tauns on the site and thought that I would try my hand at building one. Other than the fact that I could not find any white teeth, and had to use the semi-trans glow in the dark ones for the horns, I am pretty happy with the way that it turned out. I of course give all credit where credit is due, and especially would like to mention Moish Brenman's Tauntaun as inspiration for this sculpture.
In this photo and the one above, you can see that the tauntaun is in mid-stride, balanced on one leg. The sculpture actually will stand this way, although a good gust of wind would probably be disastrous!
And finally, from behind. I think the tail ended up a bit 'blocky', but I couldn't come up with a better way to do it with the bricks I had on hand (I do like having it raised up in the air, however, since it adds to the 'in-motion' appearance of the sculpture).
