This is a replica of the Ark, know by the Forerunners as Installation 00, found in the video game series "Halo".

About this creation

Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Enjoy!

This is my primary reference which I drew from scratch.

Top view ( On the third picture I posted you can see what appear to be forerunner cities across the landscape of the Ark. Rather than trying to mimic the energy signatures of these cities, I chose to incorporate eight forerunner glyphs to represent the individual metropolis.)

Bottom view ( One of the cool things I had the liberty of designing from scratch was the bottom of the Ark due to the absence of any material regarding this location. I thought about and built several variations but end up choosing a energy based design that reflected forerunner architecture.)

As with all my "Halo" creations, I always incorporate the Marathon symbol as a tribute to Bungie.

The planet in the center presented several unique challenges. The goal was to create a planet that appeared to be breaking apart (harvested). You be the judge.

The final model (ironically version 7) contains 10,942 pieces and has taken me over two weeks to perfect to my liking. As always feel free to comment, criticize, rate, whatever. It's all welcome. Thanks for looking and God bless!

If I had the money, I would download that to LDD and buy it.. and possibly make a fancy schmancy stand for it too! Great job, 5/5! Cant wait to see more (if any)
