About this creation
"DEUS EX MACHINA"
This is my Mech: "LEONIDAS" or also called "The MECH-nificent LEONIDAS"
The inspiration for this spartan-looking mech, came up to me after having a look at Shawn Snyder's "Death Walker". Thanks to him!
By the way: The main photo reminds me of the cylons from Battlestar Galactica.
The LEONIDAS is an completely automatically controlled (or remote-controlled), heavy multipurpose assualt mech against aircraft and infantry.
Armament: 2x Heavy-Chaingun / 2x Missile-Launcher (4 per tube / 4 in storage per side)
By the way: This photo reminds me of the cylons from Battlestar Galactica.

...and this are my favorite pictures.

Not as huge as your new SHIP, but as creative and well done, it deserves his name !

Unlucky Kevin, you got a tough match-up there. Like many below, I think the detailing and the head crest are great. Keep up the good builds. |

You put forth one HECK of a good entry, but Stacy got ya on her concept of the category here. Great mech though. I like the head plume and the chains were... well, off the chain! Sorry to send ya packin' but... Great job young man, great job. ~ Chris. |

Impressive Mech! I really like it, it seems that you put a lot of work on this one, very unique and unusual techniques all around, specially the work at the top, one of your best, but the photos could be a bit better IMO, keep it up >>> peace.. Firas |

This is an amazing build. I love the weapons, and of course the name and plume are perfect for my tastes. It was a close call, but because of Stacy's twist on the theme and originality, I gave my vote to her. You gave her a good run though. Good luck with the other judges. Lee. |

Really excellent work, I can only imagine how long it took to add all the greebles. The judges have their work cut out for them this time! |

Hey! Nice mech, Kevin. Love the fin on the back of the head, although there's lots of other neat detailing, like the ammo chains hanging off the "arms". Pretty hefty sizewise as well. Obviously, I could have done better, though. Only joking! Good luck against Stacy! |
