Ever heard that your life flashes in your eyes before you die? Well this thing will kill you so fast that thinking will be impossible... Anyways, my entry for the 23rd LUGNuts challenge. It's a Post-Apoc zombie-killing flatbed truck! Complete with weapons and armor!
About this creation
Rear view. Notice the barbed wire on the bed!
Side view. This side has a little less zombie blood...
Front. The fan blade is replace with a saw blade and spikes have been added to the bumper.
Bed tipped for easy loading of supplies or small vehicles.
Under the bed details...like the drive shaft and differential.
Supplies. RPG-7, ammo, and spare wheel.
front view with doors opened.
Interior. Very basic, but always a nice touch.
High caliber machine gun for handling large hordes of zombies!
Here's a video showing some of the features. Tipping bed, swiveling machine gun, and spinning blade. Notice how the fan belt and blade rotate in opposite directions!
hi my friend! remember me from flickr? sadly i can't sign in there, so the only place to contact you is mocpages :-)
this is one wonderful truck Dylan! well done! probably my most favourite post-apoc i have ever seen! :-)
Bloody cool piece of work Dylan, great to see a new large scale car from you, and you did just great as usual, love the way you made the flatbed with the spiky wires at the sides, and that bit of blood of the poor dude was just a fantastic touch, not to mention the net at the front windshield, keep on the amazing work pal >>> peace.. Firas
Not really been into Post-Apoc stuff much, but loads of the latest creations have got me thinking 'Yeh - this is cool!' - and this is one of them! Loving the blood splattered wing, and the fact it's so simple and clean looking - like a guerilla truck in Mogadeshu, knackered and dented but you wouldn't want it to ever turn it's attention on you. Great build, 5 well deserved smilies.
This is just TOO sick. A very unusual build from you... Oh wait! You used to build army. You might have got the idea from Firas for building this? (yes) Any way, I love it. It is very detailed all around. The part usage is very great and the way you built the flatbed! And the gun container, the Artillery Box thingy, the engine... Let me sum it up- EVERYTHING is awesome about this!
